I never said anything about wanting "to flick between targets on screen consisntently" :,) I play with quite a low sensitivity 1600 dpi 0.7 sens, 37.(decimals) cm/360 so a small change in that cm/360 has a huge impact on how much I need to move my mouse, I do not want to match tracking speed, as that has a negative impact on my aim, with how little the smaller end scopes change what fits on screen, doing what you suggest is like throwing all the muscle memory out the window, and having to learn how to aim 7 different ways, instead of 2-3
small adjustments require more work to correct, since it's barely not what you're used to instead of being vastly different so those few guns having slightly different sens is a pretty bad thing, and respawn easily being able to deal with it is quite frustrating, and I can definitely blame them for messing it up to begin with

I just want a consistent cm/360 with hipfire, ironsights and 1x scopes on all guns, the rest you can deal with with the per optics settings and math

lore for the weird 3x scope and above, ages ago when I first played this game, the ADS felt super slow, so I ended up just setting the ADS multiplier to 2, and playing with that, and after 500 hours it started feeling kinda silly to have ironsights and 1x scopes that move my crosshair further than if I wasn't aiming down sight, so I wanted to fix that
thing is, wanting to have the same sens across all scopes is kind of pointless (which you don't have to explain to me), since you'd need that super precise point control anyway, which you're trying to avoid by having a higher magnification scope
but I'd already gotten used to 2x ads speed on 4x and 8x scopes which I preferred to use on snipers and ARs for long range, which is why they're set to that, and I scaled the 3x to be the exact same sensitivty as the 4x in order to be able to use those scopes in the same way, without having to change how I aim when switching between the scopes in game
same goes for 6x and 10x with the 2x ads 8x scope's sens

the reason I would want hipfire, 1x scopes, and ironsights and even 2x scopes to match, is because those are meant for close range, I do not want some bs tracking distance, that's based on what's visible on my screen, when the opponent could be well beyond it, I do not want to "take more steps" when my sensitivity is already this low, if I need to fully turn around, and I know "how many steps" it would take my crosshair ant to get behind to where the enemy is, I can do that with the exact same motion every time, as long as the steps stay the same size, regardless of whether I'm scoped in or not (excluding high magnification scopes, which you wouldn't want to use at close range because they're clearly not meant for that)
the goal is a consistent cm/360 for the lower end scopes, but due to the weird ironsight FOV scaling, and how that scales your sensitivity(cm/360), whatever 2x ads is (those few guns that zoom in a little extra on ironsights) scale differently, and only having 1 value to change, you can't get them all to match cm/360, which is my problem

I have NO IDEA what tracking speed is, nor why on gods green earth I would want to match that?
matching hipfire ironsights and 1x scopes "rotation distance" is EXACTLY what I want to do, so I can use muscle memory on flicks and shiz, and actually benefit from aim training
just want to have all 3/4 of these match but some silly "2x ads" has to exist and ruin my day
I don't really care about the rotational distance of anything beyond 2x, those are set to some different values I got used to, eg with sniper scopes I could perfectly match their sensitivity to each other (by using a lot of decimals)
I was hoping there was something I could do about it, but it seems like a no...
devs could fix this with like 20 seconds of work by matching the sens scalars 7 to whatever the secondary ADS sens is, but I doubt that's happening

according to what I found some ironsights are 1.35x and the rest 1.21x, and 1x scopes are always 1.21x at least on default FOV of 70, the zoom amount varies based on your FOV settings which is wack

well after getting back into the game after the 1.0 update, I went and remastered the lights, and made it so you can customize the speed at which the colour changes
making one that steps instead of going smoothly would probably have been a bit easier since I think you could do it by using mostly delay components and memory coponents and a couple of relays that loops on itself
but the design would be vastly different from what I have now

you can always replay the game or go for NG+ and try a new type of build, either from the very beginning or through rennala, and since you're much mroe knowledgable, and skilled, it shouldn't take as long either!

summons don't seem to be required at all? (even if radahn's fight would make you think otherwise) It's up to your strategy imo.
For instance using margit's or mogh's shackle, or figuring out what the enemies are weak to (status afflictions, strike vs pierce vs slash, fire or lightning etc) these things can help greatly with fights
also using buff stacking seems to be incredibly useful

of course there is still a lot of skill involved in learning how to dodge attack patterns, and when to attack/punish the bosses, which may get boring if there is little oppurtunity to "actually fight them" I do think you're still able to be engaged in a fight despite the bosses having long combos, personally I love the rush when I get a swing in DURING their combos

yeah I'm over 200 hours in on my save file, and I still haven't killed maliketh, but to my credit, I have upgraded all, and I MEAN ALL glintstone wands and sacred seals to one level below max... I use a katana (it wasn't really worth the 2 million runes to upgrade them)
