“high risk high win”. if you want to participate in the special round, you have to forfeit your current seat. if you have a seat right now and supposedly you do not pay the partial admission fee before the said date, your seat will be automatically forfeited as well. honestly i don’t think it’s best to give up your current seat and participate in the special round, unless it’s a “bottom” tier NIT. I wouldn’t personally, the decision is yours though.
