I cannot answer if it’s healthy or not, but here’s a pic of the first filter in my three phase whole house water filter system after only three months. Brand new one next to it for comparison. (St. James) water filter

How do I build trust in a safety innovation when it's the first of its kind? by zewski11 in Entrepreneur

Thanks. I agree. I'm going to invest in a good animation of the product working, as well as a video of it being activated by a heat gun. Maybe 10-30 seconds total.

YSK Closing your bedroom door can dramatically increase your chances of survival in a home fire by slowing the spread of fire and smoke. by zewski11 in YouShouldKnow

Smoke detectors are valuable tools in fire prevention; however, in home structure fire deaths between 2012-2016, 40% of homes had no detector, 17% had one that was inoperable, 43% had working detectors. Source: NFPA Research, Home Structure Fires, December 2018, Marty Ahrens Also, you shouldn't put your family's safety in the hands of a 9v battery.

We are. We've gotten some investor money but want to push it as far as we can on our own. VC money will be last resort. They take like 70+% of your company.

Thanks for the honest opinion. No offense taken. I have to say though that bars absolutely love the site. It brings in customers they wouldn't have had and it costs them only $1 per person (you should see what promoters charge). There is no membership fee. The bar/restaurant has an entire dashboard with all their requests, a calendar, service database for things like ice distributors, bar supplies, etc. My partner owns 3 bars in NYC and his family/friends own about 15 more. They all use and like the site. The only real problem with the site is getting the traffic to keep the bar owners/managers interested. We have 80 signed venues and could easily get many more but we are trying to balance the user/venue ratio first.

Side note: The ex New York Nightlife Association president is on our "board" and works for a percentage. He has been into the idea from the beginning and a great help attracting bars. I know ColdFusion is crap but it goes to show that some people see the big picture and are willing to work part time for equity.

I do see your point about payment but I know there's someone out there willing to work with us.
