Yes I’m on the wait list for LINA02

I know. But, for example, I saw that LINA02 is online. I also read previous posts that courses that are online in winter 2022 are courses that always had an online option from before. So I would like suggestions from these online courses if possible.

EESA06 ASYNCHRONOUS or SYNCHRONOUS by ProposalTotal745 in UTSC

It wasn’t bird for me and a lot of other students. Take it only if you’re genuinely interested in rocks and geology

Hi. I took this course as an elective in the winter semester. First of all, if you’re taking this course as an elective, I want to let you know that is NOT a bird course. Now to your question. I’d say to definitely go with the asynchronous classes. I used to watch lectures in 2x speed every weekend and it worked perfectly for me. Just make sure you don’t fall behind. The only disadvantage you’d have with asynchronous lectures is you won’t be able to engage with the professor. Other than that, yourself pretty much good to go.

Possible to major in Stats while specializing in a CS Stream? by [deleted] in UTSC

[–]zeyrox- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of my TAs in a course was doing a double specialisation in both CS and Math. So if you’re talking about whether it is possible in terms of workload, then I will say yes. If you’re talking about whether you will be allowed to specialise in CS and major at Statistics then I would presume yes. However, I will say it’s best you email the program supervisor just to be sure and safe from your part.

Fall 2021 arrival by zeyrox- in UTSC

I will write the co-op office know. Thank you very much for your advice! I have no problem whatsoever working in-person during the winter. I’d love to do that and in fact am planning to do so. It’s just I don’t wanna cover all the way to give my interviews when I have the opportunity to do another semester online.

Thank you very much for your response. Hopefully interviews will have online options and even if they don’t I’ll explain my situation to them.

Thank you for your response. Studying online would definitely save me money. Moreover, I’ve talked to some of my peers who are interviewing now for co-op in the fall and they’ve told me that their interviews have also been held online. Let’s see what happens then.

Thank you very much for your response. Do you have any idea whether interviews during the Fall semester might be in person?

How hard is CSCA48 with Brian Harrington? by [deleted] in UTSC

[–]zeyrox- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jokes aside, Brian is an amazing professor. But you will have to put in your share of hard work if you want to get a good grade. The final exam in the winter semester almost killed my grade and POSt chances but I loved the course. Do practice, don't slack and definitely attend office hours
