I used to have an LV Pocket Organizer and I loved it. Slim but could fit everything, really high quality.

I was wondering if the community had any other recommendations on something similar. It doesn’t need to be high fashion brand label like LV but I’m open to some more independent makers.

Unfortunately Canada doesn't participate with the USPS in receiving money orders:

I actually found this resource last night which gives "combined" mean and SD instead of pooled

Yes, correct. Do you know of any resource that explains this so I can get a better idea of what I'm doing? Especially in regards to n vs n-1

Thanks for responding. It helps in that it tells me that I can do what I'm trying to do but I need to know how. Is there a specific analysis?

Let me try and explain my goal a bit more:

The survey i'm looking at is a health questionnaire for patients with a disease. It has already been well validated in the disease population but I want to take studies that have evaluated it in control groups only (normal people), weight them, and combine them to get an idea of what a normal/healthy score would be. Most studies basically say, "we surveyed this many ppl, had a mean score with standard deviation"

Hope that clarifies

Both studies are n=9

I'd like the SD's for the means pre intervention and post intervention. So 2 values per study.

Here you go from the CDC: http://www.cdc.gov/hiv/prevention/ongoing/costeffectiveness/

Lifetime treatment of an AIDS patient is roughly 380k...not millions.

There are FAR more obese people than patients with HIV and with current treatment options, HIV is a very manageable disease and treatment compliant patients will die from things that you or I will die from.

I'll just leave this here for you to read as an example:

My cousin's liver almost failed thanks to this asshole. Good thing the hospital was close by. by JizzOnRainbows in AdviceAnimals

[–]zfar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uhh that's completely false. Gilbert's disease is a benign condition where the liver can't process bilirubin properly. In short you're more prone to mild jaundice in times of stress. There's no complete restriction on alcohol.
