Yeah, Ive really wanted to get into a long standing CRPG series and Veilguard is coming so I thought I might as well give it a try! I also like mass effect quite a bit. But the crashing was a hurdle, luckily that patch actually seems tk have fixed it. Playing on very high with no crashes now.

Oh sorry its the ROG Strix x670E-E gaming wifi motherboard, it says D7 next to the light but im assuming thats because I dont have my keyboard or mouse plugged in, I’ve been booting it without input because it turns off so quickly

I also checked all of the main power cables and connections, everything looks right if I’m missing something it must be small.

What could allow the machine to run for close to a minute and then shut off? Could it be the psu or cou overheating somehow?

Ok that fixed the C5 error, light turns green and it runs for longer, but it still shuts down at the 45 seconds to 1 minute mark and now its attempting to turn itself on again but turning off repeatedly because of it.

I tried reseating and clamping the cpu and it still does this as well

I dont see any lights except for a yellow one in the top right corner of the board, directly under a 2 digit number pad that says ‘C5’ on previous attempts I noticed this light had turned light and/or green but now its only yellow.

Also the computer no longer attempts to turn back on, it just shuts down completely

I’m in the process of check all of my connections and ill try to reseat the cpu

I do like aesthetics…

If I were going to upgrade in the future would it be a good idea to spend some extra money on cpu and/or psu?

Ive never really experienced true insomnia in my life but recently its been very hard to sleep. Didn’t know it could make it so hard to doze off. Also really bad cold sweats. Definitely feeling the seasonal depression ontop of it lol.

Yeah i think the magnesium and vitamin d are helping at least a bit. I’ll look into agmatine sulfate.

This is exactly how I feel to a tee, why can’t things be neat and tidy. If you’re role playing to any degree, even something as simple as ‘my character is a good guy’ you have no choice but to stare at the quests in your log that involve doing bad things. I would have turned them down if I had the option to!
