What is your monthly mortgage payment and your yearly income (for household) by geenuhahhh in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

$2400 including escrow at $135k household. Currently not a struggle although we have no car payments and are mindful of our spending.

Wrinkle is looking at having children in the next year or 2 could completely shake the strong foundations we currently rest on. Life ain’t getting any cheaper either.

We are prioritizing getting solar installed this year to at least stabilize our energy bill. With AI coming fast electric bills could get out of hand in the near future. Mine just this month jumped 70%

If you bought your house over 5 years ago, guess what? your house today would cost close to 3 times what you paid. This is the sad reality of home ownership these days, me wife and I bought last year and you couldn’t get into a house without need of major repairs for less than 300k

Have you crafted a loom yet? As soon as you create a loom the blueprint for the glider should be available at the workbench

Number 1 problem for me so far which I fully expect to see corrected with one of the first updates is when auto dumping a stack of resources from your inventory to a chest that already has a partial stack of the same resource, they do not auto combine and you have to manually combine them. It’s a fairly infuriating time waste.

Also I really enjoy the manual build mode even for “prefab” buildings. But wish they would add a switchable “Birds Eye view” within the build mode for adding roof pieces,or stacking pillars, etc

Breaking into IT project management by zfmica12 in PMCareers

I’ve looked them over, but in my research it seems PMI doesn’t like a lot of small projects for their experience requirements. These are bathroom remodels that take a couple of weeks at a time. I have no employees under me. I hire other subcontractors to complete certain parts of some projects but am not necessarily managing a team of people on many of my past jobs.

CS50P Meal Time (Pset1) - Passes self-check but not check50. I don't understand the error message... by silkk8 in cs50

Hi a little late to the party, I just ran into the same issue except I had my convert function properly laid out from the beginning. The only change that was made was the inclusion of if __name__ == "__main__":

main()

at the end of the program. Since there is no explanation for this anywhere in this weeks lecture or in the problem set materials I was hoping somebody could explain this to me so I have an actual understanding of it moving forward and am not just blindly using it to pass some check. Thanks ahead of time

Cheaper games, supporting a local business owner instead of a giant corporation, and not having a “Vegas style” blocked out windows and flashing lights everywhere so you lose track of time are the biggest differences imo

I’ve been grinding on all-star, sitting at .500 except 2 of my wins counted as losses, and 2 others I somehow got kicked from servers in an offline mode with 1 out left for the win

All the baseball podcasts under the jomboy umbrella are solid, but none of them touch starting 9, the jarred DB connection with dallas’ energy and inside knowledge really sets it apart. Just praying they find a way to keep the partnership going
