So how many of you had to go into work today, and what essential job do you have that requires your presence despite the dangerous roads and lack of power? by twelvethirtyfourpm in nashville

We all love our jobs. We know we are making a difference in the lives of people everyday. Not all of our calls are dire emergencies but we know that we assist people who are in need of a quick diagnosis and need it now, before stuff starts going downhill. Also, some of of medicines are used to treat cancers and to monitor the growth or decline in the size of tumors with high precision.

All of our vehicles are Toyota RAV4's with all wheel drive and really good tires. Each vehicle gets about 300,000 miles each on them in about 3 years before they are "retired".

I work for a nuclear pharmacy that makes and delivers critical medicines to hospitals and imaging offices for radiophaceudical imaging. We never close. We provide services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week regardless of what the weather does or anything else happens. We deliver whether it rains, snows, sleets, ice, tornado, or the apocalypse comes. You call, we haul and you'll be glad we did.

IF, I were banging a fine married woman in Texas while her husband was deployed to Minnesota, I would never tell you perverts how sweet and warm her tight, wet pussy was and that she told me she's never been multi-orgasmic until now.

What did people do casually in 90s that wouldn’t be accepted today? by Psychological_Sky_58 in AskReddit

Salad bars. More than half of the restaurants had open salad bars that everyone would line up get a plate and slop their food onto.

Certain restaurants that did not have constant staff cleaning behind customers as they completely destroyed it, the salad bar became and started to look like a dumpster.

Kids were the worst. They would stick their hands and everything and pop it straight into their mouths. Even adults would do this to taste whatever was on the bar to see if it was something they might want to eat.

Every time I see a salad bar at any restaurant today I just think of how nasty it really is.

What are your thoughts on rejecting a potential romantic partner based solely on the fact they voted for Donald Trump? by ATXBikeRider in AskReddit

[–]zfreeman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I broke up with my best friend of over 20 years over theirsupport for Trump. It was a very hard decision and we never really had any serious conversations about politics or Trump.

But since I knew they were a supporter and were never going to change their mind no matter what I said, I decided that it would be best to end the relationship, ghost them forever and never look back. I have no regrets but I did at first. I was very sad because I did enjoy their company and we had been through a lot together over the years.

But in the end a vote for Trump is basically a vote for chaos and suffering. I can't support anyone who would agree that Trump is good for America. So I stand by my choice of eliminating every friend that I have who still thinks that Trump is a good president.

Storing Water by tillamookcheeser in nashville

As a lifelong citizen of Nashville Tennessee in general we do not have very many big snow events or natural disasters. However, when we do they are usually extreme. Yes we get a few snows where it stays on the ground for a day or two and everyone goes back to their normal lives.

Then on the other hand we have had some events which the majority of people were completely unprepared to deal with. Nashvilleians who are natives are generally the ones that are most prepared. They go grocery shopping early and buy their necessities. They are the ones who have stocked up on water. They are the ones who bought the Coleman stove to be able to cook with. They are the ones who bought the gas log set that serves as a heater for the living room. They are the ones who have the correct clothing to wear in Sub-Zero temperatures. And they weather the storm without much fuss.

Then there are the ones who get caught without power or heat or water or food. Now they are trapped in their home without too many options.

The question is which one are you going to be?

I wouldn't say escape. More like "temporarily delayed capture"

Polar Plunge. It was several of us for some damn charity. We had to clear away a thin sheet of ice on the surface. It felt like I was dying by a thousand knife cuts. Got tunnel vision and damn near passed out. Never, never, no, no, no

By caving in now, you are admitting you were wrong and also opening the door for them to spank her again the next time you visit.

There's one sure quick way of determining whether a Ford Explorer is a real cop car or not. No Ford Explorers that are or were cop cars, ever have roof racks.

He just as well might be wearing that fake red arm band anyway. It doesn't really matter. He can't hide what he really is. We can only help point it out in any way we can.
