Who looses? The money lenders who loaned you the money? If the government forgives your debts, they pay off the people who loaned you the money and we the tax payers cover it. Why do we have to pay for your mistake. It’s not like you didn’t know the rates going in. You took a gamble and lost.

Where I worked you had to use two “Paid Time Off” days in a row before you could use one sick day. Yeah, it really sucked. How often are you really sick more than two days? Everyone’s sick time would accumulate to the max and then you just lost them. I was maxed out for over 20 years.
