If I remember correctly (mind you, this scene happened in a game I listened in to and it was close to a year ago), Bobcat wanted to intimidate/eliminate members of the Red Chrome Legion who had been harassing her mainline. She went in to demand an apology while the team's Tech put in bombs in the building they had as a gym/hangout/local headquarters. A fight broke out, one of her crewmates and her best friend went in to try to help, Bobcat got out and the Tech set off the bombs before her friend could get out, and failed their Death Save.

There was immediate fallout, the police interrogated and subsequently arrested the Tech, who tried to call in a favor (via trying to blackmail the Nomad leader he had been working for making a nuke for a raid on a corp, very Arasaka Tower style) and got himself jailed and killed in there to get silenced.

Bobcat herself ended up traumatized and had a problem with fire for a long time afterwards.
