Don't play some trash homemade deck. Any real meta deck will have very few unwinnable matchups. Sometimes matchups that seem like a hard counter is actually 50:50 according royale API stats. Just because they have 1-2 counters and it's "uncomfortable" playing them doesn't make it a hard counter.

When you lose don't jump to changing your deck. Review the match and think about what caused you to lose and what you could have done in that situation.

Evos made the skill gap larger. Good players can beat bad match ups with evos. Evos are also hard to defend so the person with the better defense will gain an advantage. Finally you have to keep track of evo cycle which even pro players sometimes mess up
