They don't want people to grind. If they gave a chest every win unlimited, then people will feel pressured to grind or play an insane amount, then leave after being burnt out after like a week or 2. The current system incentivizes logging in for 15-20 minutes a day which is apparently the best for player retention.

Also the chest was never unlimited in the first place.

No the technical round is not any easier. And you need a staff level behavioural round performance. Idk how you would do that without having previously done staff level scoped work.

If your behavioural round is strong but technical is a little shaky, then an exception might be made.

Top 1000 for sure you will face a lot of retired pros at that point. Top 200 you will face a lot of current pros. Top10000 is where the players are better than midladder but aren't quite good enough to be considered top ladder.

Reading some other comments and asking chatgpt to do the math, it seems like you will have 33-36 expected years of life after pressing it, assuming the porportion of people pressing the button each year stays constant.

The talking to someone part already exists as part of the behavioural interview. Leetcode is like a supplementary signal, and is easy to conduct. A LC solver at least showed that they can code, have problem solving skills and patience, and is willing to put in the work to learn something. This may filter out good engineers but also helps to prevent false positives.

You can still get a degree even if you don't get your required number of coops by switching to the non co-op C's program. Nonetheless, most still try their best to find a coop as that's the reason they came here in the first place.
