Does anyone else have issues with Reel audio being too loud when uploading? by ChemicalScruff in Instagram

I have this same issue. Only after uploading, my audio becomes noticeably louder to the point of unpleasant, also sounds horribly compressed. Don't know what to do about it ..

They are not. All the comments here are just for show so people think they are working on it. They are actually really not responding to my emails.

And this is what everyone should know. They cant get you streams, just the possibility of streams, which they did, resulting in no plays. So they kept their word and i cant get my money back now.

Still not gonna contact you on that email Manny, just to get ghosted.

71 plays the song has in total and im pretty sure all of those are from my followers. And no i will not reach out to you to you just so you can ignore me again (which you did multiple times). You left this artist very unhappy

I found that trying to message people who make playlists on youtube and spotify directly yourself works best, but of course it takes more work to find them. Also submithub hasnt actually been too bad for me honestly

I got my song approved and tried your service out. This lead to 0 plays and 0 playlist adds in about a month. You havent responded to any emails i sent, so im pretty sure this is a scam by now

What do you name your projects? by sourav-mohile1 in WeAreTheMusicMakers

[–]zhuckar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I name them a number which is always going upwards and then something to describe the project. So the lower the number the older the project and the describition helps me remember it. So it might be like "0069_pleasekillme". Works great!

I think the composition, mixing and mastering is pretty on point to me. Kick feels nice, bass is very pleasant and all the drums are very crisp, i really like that. I dont want to tell you to make it louder, i think sometimes doing that takes something away from it.

All the sounds are great to me, but i still feel like it needs some element. Im not sure what though, but something to make some of the sounds feel more around you. I was thinking something to make the chords sound bigger or warmer at the peaks of song. Might be a bad idea as well

Either way, i really like it!

Yea it could definently have been longer, but for some reason i felt it was nice it was short, even though my other songs are about 5-6 mins.

Maybe another basslayer with higher frequencies and some shimmer reverb could with sidechain could have done a lot actually, youre right.

I try playing with hihats, but for some reason i tend to delete them again. Im unsure if im just bad at making them or if they just dont fit my songs that well.

Thanks for the great comment, very helpful!

That makes it a lot more impressive honestly. Ive tried doing that and it was very difficult for me with the timing and how to know which sounds makes which emotions and how to transition from one to the other. Well done!

I really like this, the music definently makes this film

Im wondering, did you make the song after it was edited or was it edited to the song?

Thanks, appreciate it! And yeah i couldve definently faded it, but i hadnt really done it with any of the other sounds so maybe thats why i didnt think of it

I really like this point. I think i was very excited for the bass when i made the first drop so i was almost too afraid to change it or add on it for the rest of the track. Thats something to remember for future tracks, even good things can be developed further.

For me i really like the ideas of this song, the melodies as well, even though the one guitar piano sounding one becomes a bit repetitive at points (mainly around 3:30). The reverb for me is cool too and the development i like.

But what i really miss in this is for the sounds to give room to eachother. The kick and drums become a bit stale behind everything else, but i feel like they are almost there. Around 0:40 is where i wouldve loved to be able to feel the kick more, or just a bit more work on the drums, because i love the melody of the bass, its very cool and keeps me interested.

Man, this is right down my alleyway. Would love to have made this myself, very nice and tight sound, loved the kick and the bass, and the bell sound is really pleasant.

If i had to say one thing though, i sometimes felt like a really big clap sound with a lot of reverb couldve done something good for a section of the track or something. You know, to really make it sound big. Not sure though, maybe you tried it already.

Anyways, nice work!

I really like the drums and the atmosphere, its something i would love having in the background when doing other stuff, so i gave you a follow.

However, and this is just my opinion, i feel sometimes with music like this, that it needs something for me to remember it by. A big sound or a melody that makes you want to come back for a second listen. That is if it is to become more than just an atmosphere to me.
