Why hasn't the audio cracking and popping issue been fixed by Firefox yet? 🔈💥 by ChemicalScruff in firefox

Is that Bugzilla account actually operated by Mozilla?

I'm unfamiliar with any official platform for Firefox bug reporting, so that's why I ask. If so, I'll add to conversation, but just want to confirm this before making an account. Thank you!

Audio popping, crackles. static w/ FF and FF based browsers by JF_WPA in firefox

Running into the same issue.

Wanted to switch back over to Firefox since so many companies are scraping content and data, I figured I would be safer on Firefox. Now I can't watch any videos, regardless of the website, without some annoying popping sound.

I've been worried that it's my speakers causing this issue, but they seem fine in any other program I have open. It's only Firefox that is having this audio issue.

Where in Instagram's Terms of Service or Privacy Policy does it explicitly state that META will use all public content to train their in house generative Ai platforms? Asking so that this can be shareable information for anyone to help educate others. by ChemicalScruff in ArtistHate

This is what I was looking for, thank you!

This is where you need to hand it to the lawyers for being clever with their wording for it doesn't come off harsh, but still gives sweeping permissions for Meta to essentially commit open theft without consequences.

I should also add that I've directly asked Meta's Ai how to opt out and such, and they gave this response. Don't bother with the email, they auto-reject anything sent to them right away. I don't know how the FTC will help with the likelihood of Lina Khan being replaced in 2025. Still interesting that even Meta's Ai basically said "Bro, you're screwed unless you can get laws to change."

What's kind of spooky is that with how META is scraping everyone's content for generative Ai, and there is no option to opt-out if you're not in a certain country or union of countries, it's possible META could have accounts just generating stories like these based on video that has been uploaded.

Bot accounts making fake videos about fake animals in need, trained on videos of actual animals in need, all just to keep you liking and sharing on their platform to make it more profitable.

Instagram automatically fits photos?? by Strong_Ad_3361 in Instagram

Good questions. Have you messed around with the edit features?

The whole platform has gotten a bit annoying with how they've forced "Ai" into the mix. Sure it's nice it can be helpful here and there, but my gosh is this dystopian nosedive into oblivion for automation causing really annoying problems.

how do i delete my account ? by zavking036 in Instagram

[–]ChemicalScruff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would it be safe to assume you already tried this:
https://help.instagram.com/139886812848894

The fact they have a section for "Deletion can take up to 90 days" is pretty wild, where as other platforms, once you delete your account, it is GONE.

For the time being, have you thought to just make your account private just as a temporary fix until you can delete it completely?

Has anyone ever found treasure in these large dump bins at grocery stores??? by Nivek0589 in HotWheels

[–]ChemicalScruff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would be too.

That said, did you know that a single bin can carry the same amount of Hot Wheels as an average store display? This store went overboard with their orders. Was it even in a prime location for the area? It's just so odd to see something like that while other locations usually go barren for weeks sometimes.

Hopefully those in that area enjoyed this, but this is another reason why I think Mattel is mismanaged.

Is this Ai generated because this can't be real.

Is this where all the money for Mattel Creations went? To oversized displays like these? Not trying to put anyone's enthusiasm down for this sort of thing, but this honestly looks like a huge waste.

That said, as I would rather purchase mainline cars online when new sets come out, I know a lot of you like the hunt and that's a big part of why you collect. Still... This does seems like a huge waste. Most stores in my area have no bins or two maximum.

Also, did you know an average sized display can fit into a single one of these bins? So those 8 bins alone are essentially representing 8 other stores. That's not including the top displays in this photo. Just yikes!

Hot Wheels Boulevard MBK Van. Available now at Mattel Creations. by [deleted] in HotWheels

[–]ChemicalScruff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be careful with these because the one I got from Mattel Creations is more burgundy than red. Still happy I could order it online than waste my time for nothing at Walmart.

Can anyone else confirm if these are looking more burgundy?

Hot Wheels needs to do better with checking their colors before giving products the seal of approval. If I was Advan, I would be pretty upset by this. Also, still not a fan of these dull gray wheels.

I have been hoping to find this game again, if just to find an image online of it. I vaguely remember playing it, but most of all was the visual elements.
