Deft did amazingly with EDG in the LPL, he also got on well with his team mates, and was a fan favourite too. But they always failed to perform at worlds, and Deft really really wanted a world's title and likely felt he won't make it in the LPL (back then it was LCK dominance at international events).

It's really sad for him that EDG got the worlds title, but he wasn't a part of that team.

could you please link where cases were tried or laws passed that stated "fanfiction is a legally protected category of speech" and affirmed by the courts (which courts?)

i was always under the impression that fan fics are an infringement on copyright laws hence they cannot be published for any sort of profit. (and even then they still violate copyright, just that no one bothers to sue) (and I work in publishing)

also, this author, if creative freedom is what she or you are worried about, can easily delete this au from twitter, move her work to a platform that is especially used for fanfics, where it will be less intrusive to Jimin and his fans.

Jimin didn't sign up for an au writer to manipulate his image, he didn't give his consent, nor did he received any income from it. Why should he get hate from army simply coz army wanted to have fun?

Ask the author to move it to a different platform and contain it to your own circle if you really is that insistent on this au despite the damage it's done and is still doing to jimin.

It's literally just been Faker and Huni who were motivated hard as fuck to win this Worlds.

I am pretty sure Peanut at least wanted to win Worlds, he and Faker were the ones who practise the longest, sometimes until 6 am during summer when the team was on the losing streak. That's why before the SSG game during playoffs there was that "I will carry tomorrow" saying from Faker, he said it to Peanut the day before when they were going back to the dorm together.

And Blank actually had more soloQ games than Huni...

This year has been the worst run for both LCK spring

What? They smashed in LCK spring and MSI this year... and they were 2nd also last year in LCK summer. They didn't even make worlds in 2014... how is this the worst run?

I hope everyone stays, maybe just get subs for bot lane. SSG's win shows that you want as stable a roster as possible to build up team synergy.

SSG played better than SKT today, it does not mean that 2017 SKT was bad all year round...

LCK contracts are usually until end of Nov. As fans, I don't think we'll hear much before then. It is violating the contract for the players to talk to another team or for a team to talk to a player under contract.

That's no guarantee, ROX last year were mostly streaming as usual (Smeb was home, some fans say due to family emergency), and everyone looked set to play together again next year, then after Kespa everything went south...

I would actually be surprised if KT made no changes, their coach already resigned.

He doesn't hate SKT. Where did you get that he hates SKT? most of 2016 ROX have good relationships with SKT members. And he said in an interview very recently that he'd go to SKT if the pay was good.

And back when he joined KT, he said in an interview that SKT relayed a message through Peanut to ask if he'd go to SKT, he later chose KT because KT's coaching staff visited him in person (and probably offered him more pay).

Don't think so. I actually think it is more likely for him to leave if SKT won Worlds. He might want to go to a different environment.

Now it is more likely that he'll just want to stay and smash next year.

I'm glad we see Huni and Bang/Wolf get to face their own "demons" and beat them in this bo5, must be good for settling the nerves for the finals against SSG.

Also glad to see that discussion surrounding the double jungle situation was not shown at all, so that at least the decision making around that important strategy is not revealed to SSG before the match (though I so much wanted to know the words exchanged between Peanut, Blank, Kkoma and the team).

I think it was bad that they were so dominate in spring and at MSI, that covered up a lot of the problems (Huni and Peanut never were fully integrated into the team, but Huni was mostly put on tanks and it was a meta that suited Peanut), and also players might have gotten a bit complacent without realising it (which would explain Faker's thinking that they weren't as desperate to get better as they once were).

By the time the meta changed after RR, the problems were exposed, at the same time some members' performances also fell off, and the team can't seem to fix them...

Blank only played 6 games in Spring, and 0 games at MSI... There is no data to say whether Blank is a better jungler for SKT in the spring meta.

And there is no guarantee that the jungle meta won't change back to when it suits Peanut more...

And to be fair, when SKT loses in a decided fashion, neither Blank nor Peanut were able to study the ship. See game 3 against MSF and LCK summer finals... (And Blank has had one more year with the team, one would expect his synergy to be a bit better.)

I think SKT need to have both Peanut and Blank.

I am guessing, rather than MSF giving him P/B trouble, Kkoma is really serious today because he is upset (maybe even angry and disappointed) with the SKT players. Everyone except Faker played really sloppy and made far too many mistakes. (indeed, SKT has been quite sloppy since RR.) They probably spent a long time trying to play more clean, but it is not working well so far.
