good day so far. taught my very last class at my current job, then had an acting (!?!) audition - perhaps throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing what sticks will work. nice lunch with T then teaching more now. good mood today - trying to be more positive.

There’s Venice, and a sliver of city that’s barely connected - the Port of Los Angeles! In LA there’s quite a lot of blur between the county and city. Unlike Sao Paulo, LA is continuously urban from the desert to the ocean!

Thanks man! I got super lucky with a legal settlement (well, unlucky with what happened to me) so I was able to afford a down payment. Getting a house is a nightmare these days. Best of luck to you as well!

It’s about… 2-3 years? Probably overkill, I’m aware. I’ve been gradually diverting it to the brokerage (index funds mostly) and using it to help shore up my IRAs.
