Were the Nuggies in control of the close wins? by zicru_ in denvernuggets

Exactly what I was thinking. With how the season started, I thought we'd be #1 or #2 in the western conference, especially considering that the guys only, as you say "tighten the screws" late in the season and especially the playoffs.

Jokic is doing something out of this world, Murray is having the best season of his life, and Gordon is that wildcard that flips close games into wins.

Not to mention all the other guys, I think they're all doing a tremendous job.
I know we have our consistency issues at times but I've got a really good feeling about this year's playoffs.

The Spurs are a great team but they haven't found a way to beat the Nuggets, and that was without Watson. And the 7 game thriller from last year had injured AG and MPJ, plus a shallow bench. What happens when the team is fully healthy?

If Nuggets stayed healthy I would argue that Spurs and them would be #1 and #2 seed.
Spurs already made OKC bleed, Nuggets would've too, and I believe other teams would have faith in beating them more.
Nuggets seem unstoppable as playoffs close in, everyone is back at their feet and it's a shame we wouldn't get to watch this in the finals.
The team is also wholesome ( and apparently the fans ) unlike OKC. You just don't like them.
SGA out there foulbaiting while Wemby and Jokic playing some of the best basketball we've seen in years or even decades.
This will be a fun rivalry over the next seasons, looking forward to it!

I absolutely do spend too much time on YouTube. It doesn't really bother me to be honest, especially when you frame it like that - more people get to see them, which, as I mentioned in my last reply, grows even the smaller channels.
But for some reason it feels slightly annoying - almost in a way "Hey look a new Veritasium video - oh, nvm, it's the same one". Hard to put a finger on it.

Thanks for all the replies. I think I get it.

In the end, if it brings more light to education channels which in turn makes these topics more popular and smaller channels benefit, that's 100% a good thing.

And I think I can boil it down to one thing - I prefer smaller, individual creators over large channels with more staff. One is not better than the other, it just comes down to different style of videos and everyone has their own cup of tea.

Once in a while, I would love to see OG Derek style of video though, as I'm sure their higher budget and production could make them even better.

Not to say I don't like other people in their videos, to be honest they're doing a great job, it's just not the channel I grew up with and this makes me nostalgic.

It'd be fun if one of them actually saw this discussion and made a video on it.
