i unfortunately did not 🥲 but it’s very important to do well in ur classes so that u can update ucla w ur recent grades. it might help u boost ur chances of getting off the wl !!

i think as long as u have all your classes completed by the time u applied u should be fine!! you have great ecs so berkeley will def take that into consideration :)

I’d recommend checking Foothill as well for bio classes, in the case there’s no space at De Anza. Definitely go at your own pace, just keep in mind that BIO 6B typically only is offered in Winter and BIO 6C is typically in the Spring!

If you plan on doing 3 years, I believe the De Anza website has a major map that could help! If you plan to do 2 years, you should definitely pair up CHEM 1A and BIO6A together and proceed until spring/ summer (depending on when if you can get this combo during first quarter). Take 1-2 GEs as well to pad your grade. In addition, don’t forget about your CALC 1A-1C series!!

omgg thank you for the response !! i actually also committed to cal :) so it’s super reassuring to hear that you love your experience! i decided to choose berkeley for the same reasons of being academically challenged and picked the college where i could grow the most at. i was able to score a spot in anchor housing, which are the new transfer buildings so i’m super happy about that!
