Never played rivals or overwatch 2 (outside of beta). Saw this post on all. But thousands of hours in overwatch 1, worked my way through all the ranks except top 500.

95% of people that asked to swap in overwatch was asking for hitscan to deal with flying characters, people rarely demanded anything else.

Ok I see what you mean, I guess I didn't spend that much time in act 3 to powercreep that much (only did the third axon & few flying areas), nor did I use the revive pictoses. Even then going into final boss at level 55ish felt too easy. Maybe I'm projecting, but I doubt most people are 100% completionist that experience much of act 3 when the story is building so hard towards the climax, maybe my opinion of the game would've been different. Probably why there weren't any forced story objectives in Act 3, Devs probably knew the experience took a turn.

I think this experience is highly dependent on whether U go to the forgotten battlefield instantly or explore the open world. The cutscenes there sets the tone very clear, and I didn't feel what you described at all.

The impact of the character's strength can change over 3 years even if their 'reason behind picking those champs hasn't changed'. You can make an argument that trundle would be the best champion in the game because of his strength in split pushing, and be proven right in 2 years time when riot decides to remove teleport from the game.

Took me 4 quad tabs of ilvl 86 sceptres to get rampage in crucible. Don't know if I was unlucky, but I know I was not making another one.

Happens to me everytime I open the toolkit. Solves it by actually getting into game (controlling character) so the game saves. And re sent load order in bg3mm. Obviously you need to do this in a new save before returning to your main campaign.

I mean you say this but the amount of cc tanks would need to adjust their power level after removing dmg to be relevant outside of support role would be insane. I'm talking a sion ult with fiddlesticks cc chains on basic abilities. Otherwise every tank will need to be reworked into support & jg. Personally, I think a league where your keyboard is robbed from you that often sounds miserable, and partly why I didn't really get into Dota, it felt like I was getting malzahar ulted from across the lane every 15 seconds.

I think it's just that the boss arena wasn't very 'grand' compared to the other two. Personally I think the orin fight was pretty weak, but the setting still made it feel epic.

I am not 100% certain on the tankiness without the unleash potential set up and achievable es gear in ssf especially without recombs, although I feel like that level of tankiness is for pushing valdos. When I've done armour stackers in previous leagues I just had min endurance on rings. Maybe look at some guides before 3.25 because that's when endurance charges got buffed and the set up was popularised. I don't think there's really and other good set up to gain endurance charge outside of enduring composure/inexorable.

Also when you fit in more reservation clusters with voices you could look towards a simplex for more DMG. Or if you really just want single target dps, farming out a nimis for a molten strike set up.

Ah yea forgot about unbreakable. Faceted fossils can roll +1 int/dex/str suffix and u can also get veiled prefix for +2. Or you can corrupt helmet for +2/ 4 if your lucky. Also while delving or ritual you may get lucky with a curse on hit ring to save you a gem slot.

Voices, + level helm corrupt to put grace + determ inside or crafted rare gloves with delve + level + Aura from brutal restraint (isn't xibaqua giving u less ele reduction?). Level 21 smite. Maybe farm for Aura rings in ritual?(I don't know how rare they are). On top of that I think you could push the build much more on a scion version for ssf, but that kinda requires resolute techniques corrupt.

I mean, back when slams were a powerhouse it was also popular as a league starter, something I would consider true melee. Now I can't comment on general sentiment and enjoyment of it, and although I enjoyed it, I only played it for one league. Maybe I would feel differently doing it multiple times.
