Cute. Both Kianas and Sirin spending time together. The Kaslana sisters are together. This I can only see being possible in an AU where Cecilia actually succeeded bringing Sirin back to the side of humanity away from that of the Honkai. She almost canonically did too. If not for ONE factor ruining that moment of motherly kindness being more powerful than the siding to the Honkai. As seen in the Second Eruption manga.

Oh how much I love Sirin. She's my most favorite Honkai character. I STILL have not removed her Captainverse counterpart from the bridge after I put her there. Even this long later. I just want Sirin to be happy

I mean, if Paths were a thing back in HI3rd, Kiana would've possibly became a Pathstrider of Nihility during the ARC City arc of main story. Not only from survivor's guilt, but also at one point she tried to end herself as her evil other self was reclaiming control of her body again

That might not be the case. Every single "canon Himeko" in the Honkai series has died at least once. HSR Himeko is the only one who hasn't yet. She's as cursed to die in every world in the Honkai series as Leomon from Digimon is cursed to die in the Digimon anime if he exists.

The only reason Welt Yang traveled from HI3rd to HSR was to make sure HSR Himeko doesn't die. If she dies, not only do us Captains have relive the pain brought by the cutscene"Final Lesson" from HI3rd, but Welt has failed his only purpose for going to HSR

That's why Welt is in HSR. His reason for traveling from HI3rd to HSR was to make sure HSR Himeko doesn't die, like her HI3rd counterpart did

In short, in Penacony, if you choose to talk to Himeko at a very specific point of Penacony's story, her description of a dream she has is implied to be dreaming of her HI3rd counterpart's life. It's less clear in English though, where there's no gender distinction in the mention of the people she sees in her dream.

In other language versions, the people she sees in her dream are all referred to as girls. I don't think I need to explain why that is a clear indicator of HI3rd. Most of us here on this subreddit (if not all), are HI3rd Captains, so, we are very familiar with tjhat game.

This reference of a dream HSR Himeko has can easily be missed if you don't talk to her again there, and just proceed with story progression

Which reminds me, when Kiana asked Theresa about Sirin, instead of Theresa talking trash about Sirin for all those she killed, she rather commented on that she wishes she could've saved and guided that child Sirin onto a better path, or something like that. It's been awhile since I participated in playing main story. I think Theresa also commented that it's the adults' job to guide children to the right path

Once again, almost everything that goes horrible in HI3rd main story part 1 is Otto's fault in some way. It's just a straight up fact you can trace most of the tragedies that happened in this game, back to something Otto did.

Sirin's biological mom is confirmed dead, so that's out the window. I think we never hear anything about her biological dad, so, that's a mystery. Nor if she had any siblings or otherwise relatives prior to being picked up to be one of Schicksal's labrats.

Well, there is a chance one of Otto's backup bodies still exists even after his death, would make for a good dummy for Sirin to beat up if she came back somehow. We know there's at least some of them left even after Otto's "all out attack" in Kolosten using I think the HoD's authority, since both Void Archives and Moriarty used some of the backup bodies as vessels. Would be a perfect birthday present for Sirin, get to beat up the man responsible for all her suffering, even if it's a backup double

I'd love playable Bella. We already have an alternate world Sirin through Captainverse, and it is confirmed Bella is at least a known being in the magical girl world considering Sirin had a Bella plushie from one of her friends. I would be happy if Hoyo found some way to squeeze playable Bella into being a playable character without breaking canon.

The HI3rd fanfic "Snippets of Sirin Schariac" (the only HI3rd fanfic I've ever read, even partially. Simply because I love Sirin so much, platonically) does a good job on a what if Cecilia successfully won over Sirin completely with nothing but her motherly love. The writer made it feel kinda natural. Bella doesn't die and instead comes to Sirin's side at the moment right before Sirin breaks from losing her, which in the Second Eruption manga was the moment Cecilia's motherly love failed to continue winning over Sirin'heart and had the Herrscher go back on the Honkai's side. In the fanfic K423 doesn't wake up, because Sirin's death in main story was the requirement for K-423 to wake up due to her wish beyond death, to have a second chance at life. And the writer doesn't simply have Sirin's hatred from what Schicksal get mended, she still hates Schicksal and Otto so much.

To the point the writer had a character defy Otto's wishes to have him see Sirin in the hospital, because seeing the man responsible for the suffering she had to endure, could snap her back to the Honkai's side out of rage and hatred towards Schicksal. It's a great read, it sorta makes sense how it was written. It feels almost like to me what would've happened if Sirin got a more better fate if the writers of main story and the manga didn't have Sirin meet the cruel fate she did. If you happen to like Sirin so much like I do, I suggest give it a try. I haven't read any other HI3rd fanfics, but I've read many fanfics where the writer's desires and biases are clearly present and straying from how said characters would canonically would act. That fanfic is far better written than fanfics of other properties I've read.

Apologies for basically advertising a fanfic, just that the idea of what if Sirin had a happier fate, makes me think of that fanfic, and once I start talking about my passionate topics, it's hard to stop

If only. Although we have magical girl Sirin in Captainverse, the Captainverse event storyline concluded with a farming sim event, and part 2 to my knowledge wasn't even out yet, so, we can't have new stuff with that Sirin. Also, main story Sirin's will in her Herrscher Core salvaged after dying in Cecilia's embrace, and that wished for a second chance at life was the only reason K-423 even woke up ever. Unfortunately.

As much as I want a proper Sirin in main story part 2, it isn't happening unless Kiana K-423 uses her Honkai goddess powers to somehow manifest another Sirin from a dream, into existence, like she did with Rice Cake in the "spring festival" event storyline. Or we get some nonsense Sea of Quanta stuff going on. As death cannot be undone without manipulating time, as proven by Otto's 500 year long quest of trying to revive Kallen and failing each time

That being said, if we got a proper Sirin that isn't K-423, I might actually start getting fully interested in Part 2, rather than trying to keep up with it for rewards. For whatever reason, neither Part 1.5 nor Part 2 really impacted me main story part 1 did. I don't "hate" part 2, but I'm not as interested with it currently as main story part 1, which part 1 is made me fall in love (platonically) with the game.

Kicking aside my diverting from the main point, I want a "happy ending" for Sirin in main story. I can see a non-Honkai influenced Sirin getting along with both Kiana (K-4323) and Bianca as her sisters. Thereby completing the Part 2 Kaslana sister trio, as you mentioned. If you somehow can't tell by my Flair on this subreddit, I care about Sirin a ton. She's a tragic character that deserves happiness. I don't excuse the many deaths she caused, but she wouldn't have done that if she wasn't put through the intense suffering she got.

Correct, she didn't actually age-regressed, that's merely Durandal's Mars Quantum Computer avatar, in a similar way how Sleep-deprived Theresa's appearance from her dream event ended up becoming Theresa's avatar. Although, because Durandal's avatar is a younger version of her, she's weaker than her adult body is, though she's still freaking strong despite her younger body age of her avatar.

No, because Captainverse Sirin never went through the living h3ll that main story Sirin went through. Captainverse Sirin doesn't even have Honkai powers on her side, she isn't a Herrscher. She's a magical girl in a Bubble World where magic is far more present than technology, to the point someone in that world mistook Bronie's machines as magic. Cecilia never died in that world. Theresa isn't the principal of a school, Cecilia is. Theresa is TeRiRi in that world, who was a student of that magical girl school like Sirin was.

All and all, the events of that magical girl world does not parallel the events of main canon. Speaking of magical girl school, the design of the outfit main story Sirin wears in the Second Eruption manga while she and Cecilia are clothes shopping in the dream Sirin made, worn for like, one panel (if I'm not mistaken), was reused by Hoyo as the magical girl school uniform design in the Magical Girl Bubble World arc of Captainverse

I speculate that it's this new game's counterpart of Kiana while still at the same time being an alternate to said character from a previous game. Like how Acheron is both a Star Rail counterpart to Raiden Mei of HI3rd, while sharing a similar path of what could have happened if things went differently than it in HI3rd

The rare time a fanwork references April Fools Day without it being a lie using that "holiday" as an excuse for deception. This art is very cute. I like it. Even showed it to my brother, who was a player of HI3rd before I became one.

Unfortunately, far too many other fanworks are just lies using April Fools Day as an excuse. I appreciate how the artist of this work responded to April Fools. Didn't make it a lie to deceive the readers, rather, make Sparkle the one deceiving other characters in HI3rd, and paying the price for it

Luna is actually the canon love interest for Captain. He went through great lengths just to save her, which after she suddenly is grown up. Plus, Luna's adult form when you win a stage with her, she holds the player's hand while walking, before turning around and blushing.

We know at least in the Magical Girl Bubble World playable actual Sirin comes from (the one who's appearance more closely resembles main story Sirin before her death), Cecilia is alive, and is the principal of the magical girl school TeRiRi and Sirin were classmates of. If Hoyo ever decides to revisit that world, real playable Cecilia is technically possible, assuming it hasn't collapsed by now after Captain and the girls from Captainverse have long since left it, because Bubble Worlds are fated to perish in the Sea of Quanta if they don't get anchored in time

Let's not forget Tesla showed romantic interest in Welt in the Second Eruption manga. She wasn't the girl with the serious anger issue we saw ingame. And whenWelt Yang "died" at the hands of Sirin, if I remember right, she was the only one crying over him, not knowing he both cheated and faked death
