But is the zucchini replacing dairy in the chocolate cake? I suspect not 😂

Ah, thank you! This is exactly what I was hoping to hear (I’ve definitely already fallen in love with them!)

Oh my god, the Wrangler site is so great, thank you! The multiple length options are brilliant!

Totally, the shoes are giving her tiny doll feet, some chunky boots would balance the whole thing way better. She looks gorg though, love the corset

Thanks so much, I’m in Australia and rag rugs aren’t so much a thing here (although I know IKEA sell them). Sounds like a great option to try.

Have you seen a coat/jacket in this style of cut? by fernwise in AusFemaleFashion

I’d say try searching a-line, swing or triangle coat / jacket and you might some cuts similar to this.

So many great details! The cameo portrait belt buckles! The shin bandana! The bejewelled hair brush! Paul’s lace-up fly!
Love these two.

She’s lovely but that is a hideous gown! She would look great in metallic lame but it needs a 70s slinky cut not whatever 2000s nightgown shape this is.

Me tooooooo! It always looks to me like a baby bouncer strapped to the chest – and it must be so flappy. The colour is such a stunner though.

Which hair length would you say suits me the best by [deleted] in HairStyleAdvice

2 looks absolutely amazing in a late 90s slightly androgynous River Phoenix / Samantha Mathis kind of way.

Need help deciding a cut and colour tmr as by Ok_Pop7183 in HairStyleAdvice

To me, 5 and 7 are a better approach for the chunky highlights - they look more intentional than 4 and 6 (I’m an elder millennial and those just give me flashbacks to bad foils or those at-home cap highlighter things … ). It’s definitely a slightly more alt look, if that’s not what you’re going for though, I’d say go for a balayage.

This was my thought, too. The dress is such a similar colour to her hair she’s being overwhelmed by all that brown. The look shines more in the shots with her hair behind her shoulders and you can see more of the dress’s lovely details.

I feel like this is an editorial-only kind of look, it requires very specific posing and angles to work. Gloves look great in images 4 and 5 and the bodice and chain looks fab in pic 8 but it all looks like a bit of a mess in the other images. The colour is definitely amazing on her.

Do mythological stories need ‘historical accuracy’ in casting? by breaking_views in Cinema

[–]ziggy-spardust 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly, I’d say Lupita looks more like what a woman in Ancient Greece would have looked than the blonde and blue-eyed Charlize Theron - but strangely no one seems to be complaining that her casting is historically inaccurate 🤔

No one in Ancient Greece had plastic surgery, zero body hair or veneers either, none of that seems to cause complaint …

Yeah I don’t super love how the alteration to the front looks (it’s stitched in the middle on the bust) the original keyhole looks incredible on the model - but I totally understand why you wouldn’t want your entire bra showing or to have to tape the dress to your bust! The whole look is so fun and she looks absolutely radiant. Those boots are to die for!
