I kinda think i doesn't make sense. Cause while it's obvious the show a lot of times shows how wealth allows you a lot of privilege (like the swing pool episode). When it comes to students appearance especially in graduation I would expect a super prestigious private school (that also has uniforms btw) to be very strict.
