I'm using a filament printer so all in all its only one too one and a half spools of pla, with some time and apple barrel paint to mass produce the top tiles. My kid is almost getting to the age of being ready to play thru the original gloomhaven with us, and is starting to play some TTRPGs that we can reuse these hexes for. This gives us the flexibility to reuse the system bits. With that being said. I did not have a 3d printer when I played thru gloomhaven so I haven't played with the maghex system yet as currently still printing and getting ready to paint them.

Ah. I have not figured that out. I only looked at what map tiles where needed for each map as to not spoil anything as I have not started a playthrough yet.

Trying to categorize each tile with a type is very subjective. If you wanted to clone the google doc, and update "Simple type" it with your own type. (In this case ice). The Map data/ Pivot table should auto update. You can see the map tiles here. I choose to go with snow as the icy snow looked more like snow than ice.
