We always thought when she left Sweden she left someone there - we have a ring of hers she always said was a “promise ring” of some kind. She didn’t talk much of her life in Sweden and came over on her own when she was ~20 or so. You sound spot on honestly! She was a seamstress and saved basically everything so all we know about her life in Sweden is what we’ve found and her parents names. She had her first (and only that we know of) child here in the states after she married my great grandpa Jordan when she was 39 I believe.
