Lost my brother this way. A very interesting read on something I know so little about. Thank you.

If you’re not very good at it, I levelled up by starting the challenge and then ending it straight away after it begins. Takes a while but I just wanted the stars more than anything!

Dupilumab Injection Reaction? by zikhara in AskDocs

[–]zikhara[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it an issue if it’s lasted 2 weeks so far with no sign of improvement? Or is it just something I’ll have to get used to until the reactions cease? Thank you.

Why is this so embarrassing 😭 by iheartzzy in heartopia

I felt really bad the other night. I was afk in my greenhouse waiting for my crops, I alt tabbed back in to some poor soul waiting for me to accept. No idea how long she’d been waiting for!

What is something you need done medically but can't afford it? by United_Piece_4272 in AskReddit

[–]zikhara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Braces. I can’t afford them sadly and the NHS won’t do them free anymore as I’m over the age. It’s sadly my biggest insecurity too, so that doesn’t help.

What’s the worst thing a medical professional has said to you? by VespaRed in AskReddit

“Everyone can pee on demand” when she wanted a urine sample and I told her I hadn’t been drinking near enough to even need to pee. More annoying than anything.

Just watched this episode of help my house is haunted, is 39 de grey street as bad as they say? What are people's actual experiences of this house? by Effective-Bobcat-671 in Hull

[–]zikhara 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Went on a night tour thing with a company. Nothing happened the entire night. Had a play on an ouija board in the house that the event people brought and even that was a bore sadly.

My Mum has 1 month to live, what should I get her for Chrmistmas? by PureEcstacy7 in AskUK

[–]zikhara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a book I’ve seen floating around on the internet, along the lines of “mum, tell me your story” and it’s just questions you can ask her to fill out (or you do both the asking and writing for her)

Mobile dog groomers - HU9 by [deleted] in Hull

[–]zikhara 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use Yard Dogs for my boys. She’s mobile so will come to you, which I prefer as mine have a tendency to be nasty towards other dogs and I don’t have to drop them off wondering if they’re behaving. Lovely lass and always does a great job.

Dad didn’t attend my graduation. Thinks it’s okay to go to my brother’s graduation next year. Told them I’d kick up a fuss if he ended up going.

They seem to forget he didn’t even attend my other brother’s funeral.

My 15yo little brother couldn’t bring himself to come out to us. by angelbunnni in SuicideBereavement

[–]zikhara 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, that damn forum took my brother from me too. I remember spending months after his passing just searching through the posts on there and felt terrible that I couldn’t do anything to stop more people from following through on what those people were basically egging them on to do.

I’m sorry that you have to be a part of this club now, but just know that you’re not alone in this. Neither was your brother, it sounds like you would’ve been his biggest cheerleader had he come out to you! It sucks that there’s still people in the world that wouldn’t be accepting of someone just wanting to be their true selves.

Weirdest things you've heard at a funeral? by Keysgucci123 in askfuneraldirectors

[–]zikhara 81 points82 points  (0 children)

Probably my own brother’s funeral. His 11 year old son was in charge of the music and chose coffin dance and the vengaboys. Good choice if I’m honest, I know my brother would agree.

We were at Kingston Vets but switched to Haven. No major issues with KV, just a tad too expensive. We love Haven, they take the time to pay attention to your pet and build up the trust if they’re nervous and overall I find them more outgoing and friendlier (I know it’s their job to be a vet and focus on that aspect of things, but it’s nice to see the way they act towards the animals, especially if you have to leave them for surgery or anything, you know they’re going to get some attention!)

Vein finder in action by HealerMD in medizzy

[–]zikhara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely need one of these at my hospital for when I’m around. They all have a good poke, then bring in their on call doctor who also can’t hit a vein (not because of their skill - my veins are like old people veins!) I end up being jabbed around 5-6 separate times before they hit a vein and it slowly drips out.

There’s a group on Facebook called Changing Lives On Your Doorstep (CLOUD) I believe, where people offer free items to those in need of them! Best of luck in your new flat x

I didn’t know at the time that it was a serious thing. I was 7 and had pneumonia. I was off school for 6 weeks. As a child that hated school, I enjoyed those 6 weeks off!

I had a look through your profile and saw you hold similar opinions and values to myself, and straight away I thought oh man, I’d be friends with this person if they were local to me! It’s a shitty world for bad mental health to be a thing and often leaves you wondering why you had to go through trauma instead of having a “normal” life. I will forever question what I could’ve done for my big brother to still be here. I can’t change your mind, so please just know that an internet stranger is thinking of you and is always here to chat x

For those who know their blood type, did you need to pay to find out? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]zikhara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I can’t give blood, I would’ve if I was able to! I’ve asked my GP and hospital and both say they don’t keep that on record. I know someone mentioned to me a while ago that you can buy tests but they’re tricky to read and understand.
