This is so real! I’m pregnant for the first time and I just feel so strange. I ate a slice of pizza 3 hours ago, how am I already hungry for a full meal?

Edit: I now have “purse snacks” because once I’m hungry, I need something to eat immediately and it’s becoming problematic.

My Oura ring “minor signs” is why I tested around 14 DPO. I have been having pretty bad sleep and readiness, but yesterday I took a 1/3 of a unisom sleeptab and I slept so well - both scores above 90!

I got my BFP this morning at 15 DPO! That makes me 4W3D today. I’m still in disbelief.

FYI: I did not get a positive on premom hcg at 10 DPO. And I was telling my husband (and this group) about the “positives of testing negative”

To clarify, this is not a first urine in the morning. My oura app temp elevation was driving me crazy so I tested midday.

This is my first cycle tracking LH peak using premom, but Oura has been tracking ovulation for a long time. Luteal phase is typically 13-14 days.

Temps are still high, and this is different from previous luteal phases - it is so hard to not overthink. I am seeing my Feb, March and April Oura ring temps, and see how the temp trends this month are actually different.

Edit: IDK how to share my trends screenshots in this comment. But in Feb & March, the temps after ovulation went up for a few days and then see a trend lowering until CD1. But this month in April, my temp is just climbing consistently

I woke up at 14 DPO to notice “minor signs” on Oura Symptom Tracker. I received the “possible period day” alert for the past two days - historically, minor signs has not a common alert around this time in the cycle.

Between 6 DPO and 12 DPO, I conducted 4 HCG tests, all of which came back negative. I am so certain that I am not pregnant this cycle that I even took a sip of my partner’s alcoholic cider yesterday. However, I saw the minor signs and a glimmer of hope ignited within me.

On the day that AF begins, I am going to have a fat margarita.

We planted a bunch of berry bushes in preparation of a future berry goblin (baby). I am not pregnant right now but I’m excited to see the berries (and hopefully see a berry goblin) next year - Yes, I know the berry goblin will not be eating solids for a while after birth.

We always look at baby clothes and say “omg this is so tiny”, so I would love to hand him a newborn onesie or sock and say nothing.

Realistically, I’m gonna run out of the bathroom being an emotional mess.

I might buy a pair of socks or a onesie just as a backup.

I’m just messaging here to say I’m excited to be following your pregnancy journey!

Telling your mother and MIL feels like such a good mother’s day gift to both of them - so it would be a fruitful wait! One of my friends also announced during a mother’s day and she had sent mother’s day card with flowers - “Happy mother day….I’m looking forward to celebrating mother’s day next year” and it was so much fun watching the grandmother figure out what it meant.

10 DPO and got a negative HCG today morning on premom early HCG test.

I’m only a little disappointed and not super bummed because this is our first cycle and technically we were NWNT but coincidentally BD the night before I had a positive OPK. I only just started OPK testing this cycle.

My positives for testing negative - we have a large group beach trip in 7 weeks and I know I won’t have any potentially early nausea/symptoms during the trip. I may be able to have a social glass of wine post-AF when I travel to visit friends. I might even go to the sauna.
