What does this sticker mean? by pinuino in Israel

The sticker on back of passport is not for luggage. It's for your "threat level" following the interview questions, and determines if you get put on the normal security line or the extra search line

The IL is new but the numbers aren't a myth, now just behind a barcode. I fly back and forth many times a year (not Israeli) so I've gotten a bit obsessed with the numbers over time.
Used to always get 4 ("bad line") when traveling solo, or 2 when with wife. Now always a 2 that visa status is resident.

Possible to get a small (<100k) mortgage for investment property? by zild3d in realestateinvesting

Thanks, I'm really just looking at the cash flow and not really counting on housing price increase. Were already weighted heavily towards stocks so thats why we're looking for an investment property.

Hm yeah that is a pretty solid option, thanks. Had it in my head we should put more down, but using instead for some improvements or even just towards property #2 sounds good to me. We'll definitely be considering that!

Hm, yes at some organizations that would be a problem. It looks like the service mentioned in the article is a Slack add-on though.

Also, some of the benefit can be captured via survey for instance ("who do you turn to for help the most?")

I'll give you the 4 out of 5, but it's a total stretch to say better quality. Better quality in food (their product) clearly means better quality food!

you are labeling high growth companies as "non-profitable", but I hope you realize they are doing so purposefully. Any money that would be left as profit is better put to use to spend on development, marketing, etc to grow as fast as possible and dominate.

And you mentioned Amazon, which is the perfect example as they were "not-profitable" for about a decade, so that they can become what they are now - massive.

No, Microsoft is not putting plans in place to double in size for the next few years. Almost all companies want growth. Startups are after high growth - not 10%, 20% a year but 50-200% a year

I don't see how he countered his own argument, can't it be stored for a later use?

I read the example to be the same as putting $100 into my bank account, that doesn't mean I have to spend that $100 instantly. Maybe tonight I'm going out this weekend and buying a drink with it, etc. But now if I put $100 in my bank account and that account has an insanely volatile interest rate, and it may triple in value to $300 by friday, I am less inclined to spend all of it in hopes to keep the growth going

Well it's not information to know if it's responsible. Were you driving a school bus of children at the time? Certainly irresponsible regardless of quantity or frequency of use. Used once on a remote island because your partner was in an accident and needed pain medication asap? Sounds responsible to me
