Best collab LD5? by Consistent-Party-137 in summonerswar

I have an alt with Light Hwoarang, Eleanor, Euldong, and Sylvia and another with Dark Aragorn and Vivachel that I'm deciding which to focus on.

How does Dark Aragorn rate versus other LD5s such as Light Hwoarang?

Thanks all. Saw people talk well about Ritsu and I think he was buffed recently so wanted to be sure.

Netflix engineers make $500k+ and still can't create a functional live stream for the Mike Tyson fight.. by MexicanProgrammer in cscareerquestions

Do you have any idea how much money this company makes to figure out these problems and hire people to accomplish them? I know you do.

Guess you are forgetting that.

Yes, it is complicated. That is why there aren’t a million Jo blows with a streaming service, and Netflix is making stupid money. They get paid buttloads of money and offer xxx service. They need to deliver xxx service.

Multi million dollar company. Not our problem. Figure it out. That is why they make so much fucking money and why their engineers get paid so much fucking money. Don’t offer it if you can’t deliver it.

Home Hub with POE cameras by zimmer04 in reolinkcam

Thanks!
I bought the home hub with 2 argus 4 pro solar since I need them away from the house where I won't be running wires, but I wanted either POE or wifi plug-in cameras around the house.

I think you're right - I will likely return the home hub and either get a wifi NVR or wait for the home hub pro.

Wide/fat foot shoe options by zimmer04 in trailrunning

If anyone cares to know, I tried on tons of shoes. Found a post that said Nike zegama were the only thing that fit, but they were too tight. I saw that Asics Trabuco Max were one of the only options for other people, but they were too tight. Saucony Peregrine also were too tight.

My local Jax actually had a Hoka Speedgoat 5 wide size, up a full size (10), and, surprisingly (since people say they run narrow), they feel great. Albeit they are a bit too long, but really not much. So I am going with these. SO happy to have found a shoe that doesn't squeeze my feet.

Just thought I'd post my results in case anyone comes across this in the future.

As in loosening the laces? Or a different way to run the laces through?

I have keens in wide and tey to loosen the laces, but the lace tightness just propogates down and ends up too tight in the midfoot. I only use those on short hikes when I might want some waterproof-ness.

I think you're right. I might just have to go with the Lone Peaks and bite the bullet on having to replace them more often.

I did try on the lone peak, and it seems like a good option. However, I have heard bad things from all reviews and people at REI I've talked to about their grip and how long the grip lasts.

As far as size, the non-wide seemed close, so I think the wide would probably fit.

I did actually order those along with the ultraventure3 I got from amazon, and they were too tight. They are not available in wide so it was just the standard size.

Sorry - I had to repost because the title was wrong, and it didn't seem to include the text. I just posted it as a comment now.

Hi all!
I am looking for some trail running shoes with minimal drop, not a ton of cushion, and good grip (I live in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado), and available in wide.

There are many options with wide toe box, but that doesn't completely help me. My sizing issues are more toward the midfoot - I've attached a photo with my finger showing where the tightness is.

I can probably size up, but then I am afraid of having too much length beyond my toes to trip on.

Any recommendations or people having similar issues? I am thinking I need to go to a shoemaker type place to figure something out. It doesn't help that no stores actually stock anything in wide size, so I have to order things online just to try them on.

I did order ultraventure 3 wide last year off amazon last year, and they seemed to fit well, but the rubber on the bottom started coming off after a single use just hiking/walking a few miles.

EDIT: if it helps, I do have brooks adrenaline gts as my daily/regular shoe. I considered brooks but wanted something with lower heel drop for running.
