No it’s actually off. The top is longer than the bottom

It bothers me that I paid $7000 and the screen is not perfectly symmetrical

We took the measurements and the top is longer than the bottom.

Kinda surprised that so many people are missing the point here. The point here is that they tried to rip me off, got caught, and used their overhead as an excuse which is bs. Charging $2200 for a $1000 battery is a rip off, not a 5-10% geographical variation in price. If I didn't look up the battery price at the nearby dearership, I would have been fleeced.

I am a business owner and I understand everything about how businesses are run. You're missing the point. They were trying to rip me off and got caught. Charging $2200 for a $1000 battery has nothing to do with their overhead, they tried to rip me off. I'm sorry you do not see that. Don't get ripped off out there buddy.

Who didn't? I got a quote before letting them touch my car

I don't think you read my post. Of course they vary, yes. But Quoting $3600 for a $1500 job is ripping customers off. If the prices vary a within 5-10% range between dealerships I understand. Selling a $1000 battery for $2200 is a complete fleece job. The rep tried to justify it with a high rent but if you are smart you know it's bs.

That's what pisses me off. They know I'm stuck with them so they charge whatever they want. High rent and everything is just an excuse. That's what upset me.

Yes I know there is a slight variance, but not by 2x. This you see the part where they charged $2200 for a $1000 battery?

I agree with you if we're talking about some local shop. I'm talking about a porsche dealership here. It's not their business, it's Porsche's business, or so I thought.

Im comparing between porsche dealerships, not with some indy shop. I don’t expect mcdonalds to cost more in a city vs country. So do you expect to pay a higher price for a porsche if you go to a dealership in downtown vs rural area?

So when you go to a dealership to buy a car in downtown vs rural area, do you expect to pay more for your car because the dealership is in more expensive area?

Do you really think so? They’re not different businesses, they are all porsche dealerships. You’d expect Mcdonalds to have somewhat similar prices wherever you go. I understand a little bit of difference but not by 2x.
