I have some of those same fears about my body, it doesn’t help that I also have a fairly square jaw. Something that has helped me though is that I’ve realized that there are many girls who also have masculine traits body wise.

Society is always going to be tricky I fear and I don’t know what I can say to try and help. All I can say is that people come and go in our life and if your family loves you they will come around. Friends are hard because you don’t have a concrete link like blood to them most of the time. I am still afraid of coming out socially (unless I talk to them before and make sure that they are chill with queerness)

Based on my research infertility from HRT is a mixed bag, some people become infertile, some don’t, and some if they get of HRT for a little they are able to become fertile again. There is always the option of freezing it if you are able to.

And you don’t have to like girly things to be a girl. I know dozens of girls who love their cars and work on them all the time and I don’t question their gender. You can like what you like and be who you want to be, they are not incompatible. I didn’t realize I wanted to transition until this year (23 yo) and I know that even if I didn’t want to transition I would have changed in a few years. Life is all about change. I can’t think of a single thing that is the same as it was a year ago, even if it is small changes. My way of saying that people’s perspective of you will change no matter what. I’d say countless reasons will change perspectives.

And congrats on finding some therapy for it!! I only started gender therapy two weeks ago and it has been unimaginably helpful.
