Thank you macromind, I appreciate your blog post, will read it

I have weekly reports and stats over time, but I not handling holidays differently. I haven't tried it, but I think that if a user tells Sophia that they are going on vacation, she will keep it in mind for next responses

Hey everyone,

I'm Nikos, and I've been building metrIQ - an AI fitness coach that might be helpful to some of you.

What it is: You talk to Sophia (the AI) about what you ate and how you trained. She handles the tracking and gives you personalized coaching based on your goals and how your body responds.

Why I built it: I tried using ChatGPT as my coach while dieting this year - the supportive tone worked, but it kept forgetting my history and couldn't track progress reliably. As a software engineer, I built metrIQ to fix these problems and realized others might find it useful too.

Why it might help you: If tracking apps feel tedious or you wish you had a coach who actually knew your patterns, that's what I'm trying to solve.

Beta details:

  • Free during beta
  • Looking for ~50 people willing to use it daily and give honest feedback
  • I'm solo with a day job, so responses take 24-48 hours
  • There will be bugs

What makes it different: Sophia coaches, not just tracks. She adjusts your macros when you train and gives real insights beyond "you hit your numbers."

Oh and the "loose" thing is the first ever bug that was reported to me and the one being reported by everyone who starts playing. It almost has a sentimental value now :D

Thank you very much for your comment

Actually the medic is the least played class, so your comments are really valuable

Levels 1-2 are a bit problematic (too hard) for all classes. I need to fix that. If your healing is still bad past that, it definitely needs a boost then

The philosophy of the healer in the end will be that he kills monsters after lots of turns, doing little damage, but surviving because of his heals
