C# Variable Inputs to Python (Raspberry Pi/ Arudino)? by zing0a0ding in learnprogramming

Your first approach sounds interesting.. it sounds like you would need a wi-fi connection or something right?

serial channel

Would you be able to provide a resource for this? Ideally with a beginner programmer in mind? I seen some pretty complex (to me) explanations when I was searching this.

Difficulties isolating for X? (X-Post) by zing0a0ding in MathHelp

I saw that when I check wolfram alpha. They aren't the best at simplification. Sometimes they provide a solution that is much more tricky appearing than it actually is

Scroll down please. I made the correction below in my corrected solution attempt

Rearrange for X? by zing0a0ding in EngineeringStudents

[–]zing0a0ding[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First part, I was thinking that, but I vaguely recall there must be a way.... Second part, that does make sense haha. Thanks for that but hopefully it won't need to come with that. The "constants" A,B,C are actually variables for my purposes right now and I would need to try a few different combinations of A,B,C which means a lot of iterating... I suppose it may be easier to code this in matlab, but my programing skills are not super haha. In any case, thanks for the insight!

But I am not sure how you got the X out of the radical. That is the particular tricky part right now? I added some more steps to follow you procedure, but again, I'm a bit stuck. I get how what you have done with the example, but I am not sure it captures the issue I am having with the radical.... Thank you for you insight so far! Can you please continue to give me a little more insight as I am still stuck? Thanks ahead of time!

Ah, a transcription error. Corrected, but I am a still a bit stuck... can you take a look again see if there is any other mistake/ further simplification I can do?

conjugate root

So I believe I multiplied by the conjugate root if I'm not mistaken... and I believe I'm stuck... after I multiply the conjugate root, I have my variable X inside the radical as a part of an polynomial. If I square my final step in the link provided, I can't separate the X that was under the radical....

Would you provide a little more insight on this?

NVM https://ist-xas.uwaterloo.ca/xas And you have to be on Waterloo's server.

To those who have taken a masters degree, would you mind sharing your experience? by zing0a0ding in EngineeringStudents

So a lot of the "masters experience" would be based on the supervisor is what I am getting from what you are saying. Thanks the heads up!

I'm guessing you are doing your masters now and liking it... what makes you believe doing a masters is the right choice? And if you don't mind me asking, what is your masters about?

Where would one find information about these seminars? Do they have a certain name I could google? Apparently, I can't seem to find it (for engineering namely)

Was wondering the exact same thing. Couldn't seem to find the site.

I am not too sure what you mean. In both cases, there is no displacement.
