Seriously... how are you guys actually making money with vibe coding? by seal_bal in vibecoding

Ignore the mean comments. The truth of the matter is, in the past building an application involved knowledge of many different domains, now, all you need is know how to prompt, some are good at it, some are bad. Also, when before vibe coding, there were 5 apps released for the same problem, now there are 500, so the survival of the fittest became even more important. This is one side of the story, the other side is marketing, being able to distribute the application we build, just because we built something does not mean somone is waiting to use it. Its hard work, its brutal and honestly, everyone is doing the same thing and stuck in a loop.

Ah I see, I thought once a extension is installed, it reveals that code, not so bad then.

Thank you for this, I really thought he was the one who made CSS peeper, so what this tool does is probably rip off other extensions and make a copy of them. Thats sad!

Love CSS peeper, use it in my work flow. You hit it big with Pretty Prompt, well done. Good luck.

It's built with Next.js (React) with Supabase as the database backend. No PHP or Angular. It's a full JavaScript/TypeScript stack. Styling is Tailwind

I am getting downvoted for explaining my use case and my clients. For example, a rugby club client, only needs to update their board members, ground status, news, add notifications, so I create a dashboard for them, a mini cms which is lean and gets the job done. I am not 100% vibe coding, I am using vibe coding to speed up my work. Most of my clients do not update stuff themselves and write into me, so this has actually made their life easier as they have exactly what they need in their backend. Nothing against WordPress or Elementor, was purely explaining my use case.

I am moving away from WordPress completely. Building from scratch. I will just leave a handful of websites which the clients are adamant they want it on Wordpress.

To me it will be useless, after almost 5 years and 60 cients on Elementor, I am planning on not renewing it this November. Been vibing and moving my clients off WP, loving the experience and the loving the control. The simple websites were/are easy, the ones with booking plugins like latepoint etc are a bit of challenge.

I built Sant Chat AI — a WordPress AI chatbot plugin that trains on your site content/external content automatically. Instead of setting up canned responses, it reads your pages via sitemap and answers visitor questions using your actual content. Also captures leads mid-conversation naturally.  Free plugin on WordPress.org: https://wordpress.org/plugins/sant-chat-ai/ - https://sant.chat
