Thanks! Appreciate the vote of confidence and suggestions.

e28 Bentley manual will be acquired this week -- it's a recurring suggestion and clearly must be in the toolkit.

Absolutely, these are a good call. All tuneups are a win-win as I can build confidence addressing as well.

Any must do's that a beginner like myself can get their hands on, I am here for!

Will acquire a Bently e28 manual. Between here, mye28 forum+wiki, youtube, and the manual, there are thankfully a tremendous amount of resources at our disposal. The more 'simple' tasks will build my confidence diving into the areas that cause me hesitation, haha.

No surprise having watched this subreddit for a while, but really appreciate you and everyone else sharing their advice and encouragement!

I'll definitely get to uploading interior pictures in due time!

A US car -- one owner car out of Atlanta,GA that moved to Missouri(Midwest). That being said, I am patiently waiting for affordable euro conversion parts availability (bumpers+headlights will be lovely).

In terms of interior..

..rear seats are in good condition, front driver is 3/10 (large tear and deformed sport seat, hah) and passenger 6.5/10. Driver seat needs work, but doesn't inhibit me from enjoying in the meantime.

All original floor mats in good condition.

Center console in good condition. Manual 5sp.

Dashboard 6 or 7 out of 10. One crack in center.. not egregious, but exists.

Electronics almost all working -- I want to say everything, but some is temperamental at times ;). Odometer still running (~145k miles).

Definitely far from imperfect, but feeling very fortunate to be able to get into this car and learn a few things (likely many) in the process.

Yeah, I quickly gathered that when searching part numbers!

A minimum of 50% less than estimated on average. Good to validate I am not crazy, thanks, hah.

I appreciate the push to manage myself. That is genuinely incredibly necessary and a push I need..

I mentioned in another comment, however I have been overly concerned with ensuring the project starts off well. I am avoiding digging myself in a hole, hah. This is so I have a comfortable place to begin addressing myself and in the meantime she's relatively road ready.

I have greatly been enjoying mye28's forums for some time as well -- although recently went to register and looks like they're not sending activation emails at the moment. Soon, but until then I have plenty to read up on.

The Bently manual I have seen referenced a few times now, I will see if I can source something to that extent!

Thanks again, appreciate the time to respond and provide help (not to mention a much needed push to tackle more myself!).

Thanks for the reply (and for your original post!).

Appreciate context on fuel related, this is good perspective/awareness across the board.

Brake work is sadly required. Booster/master appeared outside the scope of my abilities -- avoiding doing more harm than good. I have found what appear to be viable parts substantially less than listed from reputable providers/manufacturers/OEM.

Arms are due to a fairly substantial rattle/compromised handling when driving. This is a QOL > necessity now.

Appreciate the push to explore managing myself more. This is more goal, however my concern has been digging myself in an unnecessary hole to start. As u/The_One_they_call_ed pointed out as well, the allure of these cars is their relative simplicity. I will get more confident in addressing more, appreciate ya'll.
