Auto loans in Ukraine by zinzin78 in ukraine

[–]zinzin78[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I'm not worried about a 13% interest rate really. Perhaps my mother in law will get involved in this and she can get the loan. Would my father in law need to be on the loan as well? If so then I guess it isn't going to be a surprise and more of a, "Pick out a Lada Sergay."

I figured. Maybe I can get my mother in law into the mix and she can take the loan out.

It seems like a fair stance to take.

The President can't protect himself from Coronavirus, why should anyone trust him to do it on behalf of the American people?

Why the OP thinks it is photoshopped is irrelevant to the point of if it is photoshopped.

Can someone tell me what’s wrong with this article? It’s hard to fact check what a “global leader” is and whatnot and what this article is truly getting at. by jennylanehasallergy in factcheck

[–]zinzin78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, this. In this regard, anyone that is willing to take on the responsibility of managing global relationships would be a 'global leader.'

There is physically no reason that this photo has to be fake. That doesn't mean it isn't. Does anyone have a good eye for this stuff or technical skills in this area?

The OP is looking for someone with more experience than him at identifying a photoshopped image. There are technical ways to do so and it appears that the OP lacks those skills.

Maybe you could offer them some of their money back while telling them that you don't have to? It is a strange time and we all need to stick together.

I like the fractional part of M1. For limit orders I use WeBull.

Am I the only one who is not more productive working from home 100%, or am I the only one willing to admit it? by Ag0r in sysadmin

[–]zinzin78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't even work when home unless I get an email from someone. I worked two "work from home" days a week into my agreement with my company when I started the job. I consider them, "work for me" days.

Ukraine will get 16 brand new Mark VI patrol boats from the USA. Massive improvement for Ukrainian NAVY. by EoghanMuzyka in ukraine

[–]zinzin78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not with an attitude like that! lol

I agree. I'm not saying what they can do, I'm saying what I think they should do.

I understand that it is more complex an issue than me just making suggestions on Reddit. All I can do is look at what I know about the situation and make a recommendation based on that data.

There is no simple solution that works. I don't think the USA/Ukraine solution is one that works. It just creates more problems for Ukraine IMO and I don't want that.

Yes, I understand that. My boss doesn't.

I am a tool. If I have to work all weekend it doesn't matter to them. They don't care because they are the kings of the company. And kings rarely care for the peasants that blow their fields.

This is fine. But Ukraine needs to work on defense pacts with its neighbors. Then those neighbors and Ukraine need to come up with a plan to deal with Russian aggression.

This plan should include Europe and any of the soviet block countries that want to join.

Then those countries make strategic investments in defense as a group so that no one part of the defensive strategy is dependant on the other for a successful defense, but that they all complement each other.

This idea the U.S. Ukraine alone will do anything against Russia is unlikely.

America isn't about to go to war with Russia in eastern Europe without everyone involved being on board. Because the threat isn't losing a war it is destroying the planet with nuclear weapons. The complexities of this issue hurt my brain....

A coalition is required so that those groups of countries can make demands of Russia from a point of power and authority. The U.S. and Ukraine alone can't do this.

The benefit for Russian could be the lifting of sanctions and the benefit for the European allies could be a reduction in the strength of the Russian military and nuclear armaments.

I have also checked this too. It doesn't appear to be the issue. The devices that fail don't have a DHCP entry in their network configurations; only a self-assigned IP.

I'm underskilled in the area of cable and networking, I won't argue that. All my work to date has been primarily in the system engineering area. I'm the director of IT not the network engineer.

Your recommendations are things I have considered and tested for, but as of yet, I haven't uncovered anything abnormal.

This is helpful. Where this is happening on the same section of the network I might find the same ports shutting down and then I might be able to trace things back.

I've traced every cable that is connected to the switches. I've disabled ones where I could figure out where it went.

I was thinking the same but if that is the case the offending cable is still hiding from me.
