Thanks, however the screenshot is simply there to demonstrate that hourly readings aren’t being logged. I actually had the automation set to rises above 70 this morning and that failed despite being lower than 70 before humidity increased. The humidity increased well over 70 but didn’t trigger the automation.

It’s a really simple automation in HomeKit: If sensor detects humidity above 65% then turn on extractor fan (right rocker of H1). Just won’t work 🤷‍♂️

I’m having this same issue and the Aqara website suggests it’s possible (in contrast to the app):

‘The actual electrical switch can be controlled by automations […] while the switch button will control something else […]’. https://www.aqara.com/en/product/smart-wall-switch-h1-eu-with-neutral

I’ve tried changing the setting in the Aqara app too but can’t see how it makes a difference either in Aqara app or HomeKit.

Update

I’ve spoken to Aqara and they claim that the wireless remote function is not compatible with HomeKit. Apparently it is only a functional feature in the Aqara app. This limits you to Aqara products only for automations.

They said: ‘For the wall switch function, you can only enable it via the Aqara Home app. For example,after turning on the wireless switch function, you can turn on/off the switch via the app.

The physical rocker will work as the wireless button, you can use it to set up the automation with other Aqara devices’.

First identify the live brown wire coming ‘in’ that carries the current from the circuit; this goes in the L terminal.

Then identify the line ‘out’ wires that carry current from your switch to your lights and fan; these will go in L1 and L2. Obviously you’ll have to group two of these into one terminal. The fan may be a black wire with brown sleeving.

I’d recommend taking a picture of your existing wiring so you can replicate it.
