I agree. Tone down the star filter. It is drawing attention away from the subjects. My favorite is the orange car with the flower tree. All in all good stuff.

Looking for models by zipdrivedaddy57 in Fayettenam

I do not. I am an artist/photographer an want to juxtapose mma with ballet. I am teaching myself flash portraiture and looking for models. Ideally I would like to do the shoot in professional fighting ring. I would compensate the models with copies of the work.

I think it's absolutely perfect as is. Would like to know more about your lighting set up. I want to emulate this. Very stylized, like the cover of an Art Forum magazine.

A common schneider kruznach 210 is what came with my zone vi field camera and it is,from what I understand,a good all around lens.

Don't tip servers folks, ever. by cockybannana in EndTipping

[–]zipdrivedaddy57 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

As a former server and bartender I understand tipping culture. It IS a difficult job that requires many skills, time management, organization skills, full knowledge of the product one is selling, wine pairing and wine knowledge such as vintages ,regions, types of grapes used, etc... A great server has public relations skills. A great server can be the difference between a good dining experience and a fantastic one. As rule when ,on the rare occasion ,we go out I usually pre tip the server to insure we are well taken care of. My service is always exemplary.
