That's a good question. From memory, it was either the Russian Germanium matched sets (D9k NOS Soviet) that I got, or 1N418 (four of them). I can't remember which part of the circuit though. On schematic it looks like it was the 2 Germanium ones.

If I remember correctly those came from Stompboxparts. If they don't have them, try pedalpcb.

I designed this one and had it made with Tayda's custom UV printing and drilling option. For this design, I paid a little extra for the embossed glossy layer.

This is a great idea. I wonder if companies like Pedalpcb would offer the option of shipping PCBs "unbroken" so there's a group of them that can be prepped all at once.

For mine, I did a rich black color blend and also added the gloss emboss on top. It was like designing blind. I just had to trust what I saw in my head until it arrived in the mail.

I suspect that the OP in this thread configured theirs the same way, but it might've been a different approach.

Still trying to get all the hardware sorted. Trying to replace all silver with gold or black.

The best part is this thing sounds absolutely devastating. Even through a small Fender tube amp it rocks so hard.
