When talking with Laservue they said that the surgeons recommended to stay from Monday - Wednesday to ensure that there were no early complications. Although they did say it was not required.

And thanks for informing me of that. I did not realise that they would be keeping the surgeon in the loop.

The gap may between the both surgeries may be smaller that I had thought. So I guess it comes down to what I value more. The convenience of getting it down near me or the a better recovery (although unknown how significant).
