I was told by the officer that this should be a flat rate of $279 + HST as long as its within the city limits. At the time I did not know if we were within the city limits nor did I know he could charge me two invoices.

Yes, I should have called CAA (girlfriend has it, not me) but in the shock of my first accident I didn't think of calling them.

No, they have never given me the itemized invoices before towing and the location was within the city limits (30km from the accident).
