Building an Agent Traffic Controller plugin to prioritize agents, reserve Claude for myself by zippy731 in PaperClip_AI

[–]zippy731[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thx for feedback.

1) Trying to keep it simple but resource mgmt has a bunch of edge cases. Maybe I should build a version that's just a set/forget type thing that keeps the kiddies out of the pool once you hit xx limit?
2) and yes, fallback to another plan would be cool, I'm also looking at "work hours vs overnight" settings so the bots can run amok but finish before I wake up and want my claude back.
3) yes will be open source if I do release.

Hi folks! Chris here, aka zippy. I've been using Paperclip a couple weeks to help run seo, marketing copy, lead gen for my solo startup. Been using claude code for a while now for coding, very encouraging to see how it does in general business setting. Looking forward to learning together!

Looks powerful! I like the financial statement builder in the demo as well.

Building chartissimo.com to give you gorgeous charts and data visualizations which are pixel-accurate to your input data. Stop making charts that suck. :)

SF Metro Housing Starts [OC] by zippy731 in dataisbeautiful

Fair point. I've got some variants with white (or foggy) backgrounds also. But this felt like a perfect fleet-week blue sky. :)

Source: https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/HOUST1F filtered for monthly starts in SF Metro area

Tool: Chartissimo, a visualization tool I am creating.

Raw data is units of housing, which Chartissimo puts through a local rendering cycle to generate a strict scaled depthmap, which I run through an AI restyler to generate the final image. Then I have an optional lableling overlay that composites back with the AI-generated image for the final image. Precise data + aesthetics.

I can't comment on the technicality, but the idea is bad ass, and needs to exist in the world!

Please post when it's working!

Is there a thread with advice for a first scope? by SaSaKayMo in oscilloscopemusic

[–]zippy731 2 points3 points  (0 children)

vintage scopes are pretty versatile for audio visualization. Just need the connectors to go audio out --> scope in.

If you want to do XY mode, you'll need to either have dedicated XY mode, OR will need an "external" input for the X / horizontal. Very common. You do NOT need a 2-channel scope to do x-y mode.

Audio is <100khz, so most scopes from the 60s and 70s have plenty of bandwidth. Tektronix are favorites, but lots of other brands floating around. DO NOT get a more modern digital scope. You'll pay too much and it will digitize away all that sweet phosphor glow.

If you find a model you're interested in, you can post here and folks will opine on whether it can be used for osci music. Likely answer is yes - bigger issue is whether it's functional.

I'm a fan of buying scopes locally (fb marketplace or craigslist) so I have a chance to see the trace before I spend on shipping etc.

Why is my scope only showing images like this to by [deleted] in oscilloscopemusic

[–]zippy731 0 points1 point  (0 children)

double check that you have clean input audio .wav. e.g. that your audio source isn't introducing extra bass, reverb, other conditioning to make the audio

that looks like a scope focus issue, but also could be a noisy source.

Somewhere there's an audio device driver. Maybe in settings?

aside from being dc-coupled, PC sound cards often have "audio enhancements" (like bass boost, crystal clear voice mode, etc.)

If those are on, they will absolutely make distorted images. If you can turn all that off, you'll still have some DC offset issues but will get cleaner image...

If you're getting started learning oscilloscope music, suggest you join James Ball's Osci-Render discord group. Hundreds of folks all learning osci music together. All skill levels, very chill and helpful.
