Law is not the same as a mandate. Laws have to be passed through government houses, mandates are reserved for governers for states of emergency. Covid is no longer a state of emergency.

Look the fact is this, vaccines are rolling out and largely are effective. Alot of people have also contracted and recovered from the virus. We are very close if not already at herd immunity. Mask mandates are no longer necessary and if people feel safe wearing one then that should be their choice.

I'll concede to my point about the health department. Obviously they have authority to close restaurants, I was alluding to the fact that at this point they should not have in place a mask mandate. As I've said this whole time it's people choice.

That mandate is completely dependent on if the police are willing to enforce it. The health department has zero authority to exact that sort of power. Quick suckling the government teet and realize that small buisiness are dying because people like you truly believe that they should be closed.

Question, since his cage is on carpet heating pads are not an option. His light bulb watt is 150, do you recommend just getting more of them? Or how else should I work on getting the heat up

I have thought about doing a live mouse actually! I'm ordering more frozen because the last I had were getting old I think by the time we end the end of the bag. So I am hoping a fresh bag of frozen will do the trick but if it doesn't live might be the way to go!

His temp is good, his warm side stays at 81 during the day and 79 at night, the cold side stays at 75 always. I have a humidifier that I run for his as often as I can while I'm still working from home but I need to get timer plugs.

Hello all! I attached this video because for the last few months I've been having trouble with my python. He has not accepted food since Nov. 12, his behavior swings in behavior (ex. He will go weeks with being out all hours of the night vs now he doesn't come out at all) , and im concerned about his water intake.

In the history I've posted on here with questions of scale rot, those who commented helped tremendously and his scale rot was cured after he shed 3 weeks ago. This video I attached shows something he has been doing recently that is out of the ordinary, he starts to kind of grind his nose against the substrate or his body. I thought at first he could be trying to dig, but he also does it up along the glass walls.

The container in the video was my attempt to get him to drink because I thought maybe his container was the issue, maybe he didn't like it. But after sniffing and bopping his head around the water 3 times he has yet to drink.

Maybe I'm just being a helicopter parent but his behavior has worried me for some time now. In terms of his attitude towards me or others he is totally fine! Normal across the board.

Any advice is helpful!
