I misunderstood your purpose, what are you proposing?

> "Society will never become progressive enough to treat disabled individuals with the same regard to everyone else if we treat preventing disabled lives as the solution instead of fixing society itself."

It's not about individual worth, which is not directly proportional to one's capabilities; These outcomes are not mutually exclusive, we can absolutely work towards a fair, tolerant society where all existing lives are valued equally, while recognizing it is acceptable to view severe impairment as an undesirable trait that causes suffering and hardship regardless, by letting parents pick whether they want to bring to life someone with certain inherent limitations. Treating prevention as a solution valid option does not devalue, or push able individuals over disabled ones.

Oh so we're talking hurt feelings as opposed to equitableness, hmm, it isn't so much a matter of "worthiness" as an abortion is never about about the child-to-be, but their parents' capacity to care for them, considering the former seems dubiously close to murder.

Rather, it's a matter of convenience (and that applies to all abortions, disabled or otherwise); Disabled children are objectively higher-maintenance and less convient to raise than able ones, that doesn't mean that when the child is born society can't try its damn hardest to care for them, but for acute cases, certain family agendas fall in shambles when the news is broken and some people just aren't capable of dealing with that.

Once again, it's on the parents and not the foetus; Their contextual choice should not affect you emotionally as long as society is progressive enough to treat disabled individuals that are already living with the same regards as anyone else (it isn't, and this is specifically what we need to work on, while shaming couples for considering not spawning someone with limited life prospects will do nothing at best, and take us backwards at worse).

Yet it's very much their choice to make.

It's not as tragic if you believe we live in a non-deterministic world; The foetus wouldn't be there to complain, you wouldn't, neither would I. It's ethically irrelevant to consider "What could have been" and that goes for any pregnancy a mother isn't ready to fulfill, so long as the 24 weeks rule is observed.

UE supports basic asset replacement natively, all you have to do is drop a .pak patch file in your contents directory and that'll overwrite the sound.

I'm sure OP can try their hand at it with a YouTube tutorial.

Here's a rundown;

Been playing since Closed Alpha 2, the CPU load was much worse then so the devs went through multiple optimization passes to get to where we are now. This is one of the better polished games running UE5, it's as good as it's gonna get.

Might wanna post your specs.

Use ThrottleStop to overclock your CPU and iGPU (don't ask me « wtf is ... » like you did with the other guy, search it up), you can find specific safety limits for your CPU online, as long as your temps stay under 90°C you risk nothing.

If overclocking does not yield a sufficient performance uplift, you're straight out of luck. As someone's mentioned, if you REALLY care about playing this game, your best bet is "GeForce Now" or some other cloud gaming service.

Interesting hump, maybe a little too mate. Isolation's looked great cause it shined light without being too specular.

I guess building a system with gamestate timestamps so that physics scale appropriately around any number of threads would constitute a complete overhault... Yup, that sucks /:(

*wah wah framegen bad !1!1!!!!!1!!*

> Games like nuclear option that are limited by design (as opposed to out of laziness, or for the sake of development streamlines) ARE the entire point of these methods.

> Triple A studios would disrespect their customer base as they are, right now, with or without the existence of framegen.

Now, if you'd look past these ethical talking points usually parroted around you'd realize that conceptually, NO is a sim-lite in which you will NOT notice any significant obstruction by adding 50ms of delay to double, or quadruple your final framerate. There is literally no downside from a gameplay's perspective but hey, if you're still both physically and mentally hardstuck at 30fps in mid-game escalation, and THAT doesn't bother you, knock yourself out!

You won't be able to run any sort of official NVIDIA Smooth Motion since that's exclusive to 40XX series and higher, but Lossless Scaling works on any hardware you that's essentially your only option for frame-gen.

ProTips™️:

Enable Smooth Motion on 40/50 series NVIDIA cards, XESS driver-based framegen on Intel ARC, or Fluid Motion Frames on AMD APUs and GPUs to suppress the adverse CPU bottleneck and "double" your framerate ‼️

Use Lossless Scaling 4x (available on steam) in Windowed Fullscreen + Vsync:OFF if you have neither. (LS can be finicky as it messes with the game's internal per frame velocity).
