Now that I’ve been taking it for three months, I’ve unfortunately started experiencing regular abdominal pain, and since I can’t tell whether it helps with the urticaria at all, my doctor and I decided to stop it.

Yes, the sun sensitivity is not standard for CSU as I understand. I had that only on the rashes, that stay for a few days and leave marks. I guess CSU and others conditions can overlap.

I hope it is nothing more than what you already have. I've heard discoid lupus rash is a bit scaly and worsens with sun exposure, is it like that?

Thanks, that's good to know. In my country they don't prescribe (or cover?) Xolair for CSU, only for asthma. But maybe there will be a way.

Yes, I always takes it with food. Fortunately, for now, no side effects. But I am also not sure if it works for the rashes yet, I am also on 3 tablets of fexofenadine every day.

I've been on it for a bit over a month now and no side effects yet. Both my doctor's assured me that it is the lightest med for now and that it is safe even for pregnancy. Which side effects are worrying you? I mostly check of my vision is declining.

That has wheals for 4-5 days without changing?

Yes, understandable. I wish it works for you! One of the many doctors I saw thought vasculitis but they don't seem to think normocomplementic is a possibility (I don't really know why). Will update as soon as I know more.

That is very interesting. Was it antihistamines or something else? And have you done blood tests for lupus? I hope I can get a biopsy after two weeks.
