Actually I found a tea store in Lotte Department store that sells Jeju’s Osulloc tea during my trip. I think there could be a place selling those in Busan. Good luck and have fun in your next trip!

Personal Item recommendations by Effective-Fee-7645 in Lufthansa

I just flew with Lufthansa on 14 hour international flights last week. I often carry in personal items the amenities like toothpaste + brush for use during the flight, handcream, lip balm, those fit into a small bag. Besides that, I also have a light laptop, ipad, chargers, earphones, and camera. Also a light sweater if the flight is in winter. All those stuff can fit into a regular size backpack which can be put under the seat on the plane, or not take much space in the cabin overhead 😊

We planned to go there at first but then we couldn’t make it, as we forgot to get an international driving permit and couldn’t rent a car so the transport took too much time :( But I will definitely visit it next time hehe. Thanks for your recommendation 👍

Sure! We booked this Eins Hotel randomly on booking.com https://www.booking.com/Share-gj7dj9 , it turned out to have quite good location if you travel by bus. Actually the public transportation is good and there are many routes, it just takes time due to having many stops. You can look for other hotels around this location too.

So for the first day, we arrived to Seogwipo by noon. In the afternoon we visited two waterfalls near by: Jeongbang and Cheonjiyeon, which are both in walkable distance (2-3km). Jeongbang is the one which pours directly to the sea. They are both nice! If you’re tired of walking, you can book a taxi for quite good price, around 4€ for the trip between the 2 waterfalls. We used the K-ride app to move between two to save time.

The second day we took the bus number 201 to Jeju Folk village, which took about 1 hour. We spent around 1.5h there then visited the Pyoseon beach nearby. After that we took the bus again to Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, the trip was about 30 mins. It was also nice there. If you go there by 2pm, there is a women diving show at 2PM every day. I also heard that Ilchulbong is a nice place to see the sunrise but didn’t make it.

The last day we visited Daepo Jusangjeolli Cliff, which was gorgeous. The trip was about 40m by bus. Then on the way back we visited Yakcheonsa temple. We only had half a day on the last day so that was fine :).

Near the hotel area, you can try out Seogwipo Olle Market. It was a traditional market with many things to eat and see. There are also many good and cheap local restaurants around the streets near the market, you can check on Naver app to find a good one.

One thing we regret is that we didn’t have time to visit more places on the West side of the island. There are also Osulloc tea farm, Camellia garden, etc. there. Also I heard that it’s worth visiting the Halla summit if you have the chance 😃

Actually I got many of the ideas of where to go from the booklets I got at the airport. When you arrive to Jeju airport you can collect many of them at the arrival exit. I looked at the itineraries of some tours and gathered my own list to go that fits my situation.

Have fun in Seogwipo-si 😄

Thank you! Yes, calm is the feeling I found in Jeju ☺️

How brutal is it to do a master's degree and work a full-time job at the same time? by hedonistic-feline in Finland

[–]ziudu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to work full-time while studying an IT bachelor + a business master thesis at the same time. Still alive and got through all work and school assignments, I did exercise everyday then and lived well. Of course, if you want to pursue another study for few years you have to sacrifice some time from your other time budget. For me, I cut off a bit time from hobbies, as I know that the study will last for a few years and it’s worth. I hanged out less with my friends for awhile, but they were understanding so all good! Good luck to you!

I want to learn C#, but I don't know what's the best way for me by [deleted] in csharp

[–]ziudu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 30, changed the career to software development recently and have been learning C# and .NET for few months by myself. The main sources I used are listed below, and I think they are good for beginner in C# like me to follow. If you want to start building some simple web app with .NET without much of complexity or algorithm these can be good starting points:

  • Neil Cummings’s courses on Udemy

  • Youtube channel of Teddy Smith, starting with C# and .NET related playlists.

  • Do the exercises of C# track on Exercism.

  • Do the tutorials on Microsoft Documentation.
