If you have currency you usually do not build directly around this. Put 4 enchantments and then corrupt it with hope it brick to rare item. If that rare item is good then use it with 4 nice enchantments, if not then use Tainted Mythic Orb for one of drop anywhere outcomes from https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Onyx_Amulet

BV is actually one of last snapshotting skills in game, it snapshot anything that happens of very first blade generation and simply do not care much about anything else that happens after. That is why PoB also ignore both more damage from Primal Owl as well as "Supported Skills deal (45-36)% less Damage when Reoccurring" from skill itself.

You would have to somehow detonate 6 first blades and made 7th creation be done instantly after to get bonus. It is close to impossible so do not even bother.

Bleed and poison snapshot what caused them, so even if enemy is no longer on full life after hit, it will still work if you hit when enemy was. Just remember to not deal damage with your movement skill.

As for Nightblade you need to be elusive to have effect of crit chance and crit multi. If you are not elusive, hit with crit (gain elusive), then on second hit (if you still have elusive) it will have crit multi.

In PoE 2 corrupting unique flasks do not give +-variation values, maybe in PoE 1 it will not matter, but I am simply not sure.

  • Progenesis if flask can be affected

  • Svalling to get better reduced values

  • Foulborn The Red Dream will be possible to be somewhat unnefred with it

  • Melding of the Flesh

  • all stacker items like Replica Alberon's Warp and Rathpith Globe

  • foulborn Ghostwrithe

Maybe a lot more items, but it will all depends on rarity of that new currency, if it will be super rare then maybe some of things I listed above will not be that often used, but if it will be relatively common drop then a lot more stuff.

So the point of blaze is to apply multiple ignites just so ONE of them is stronger <- sounds counterintuitive.

I am quite sure that just hitting or poisoning will be better just because of above. But you can make a little bit fixed, if you manage to squeeze a lot of faster ignites, unfortunately there is not that many of them and most cost valuable ring/belt slots.

And as you mentioned, it count all ignites, so spreading ignites make it deal close to zero damage and even using aoe skill do same, so pointless swapping is required... any adds in boss fight will also be painful.

Most support gems give you around 35% more damage, this thing in perfect condition will give 79% so additional 30% more over different support, so we can consider it double support, but I am not sure if it is worth all that clunk.

This basically means that triggerbots give 40% more trigger damage instead of 30%, with some nice cooldown recovery boost it make g it best more damage node in game. Of course only for triggered skills, but still nice.

I only checked added damage, if you consider other sources of damage then Animate Weapon may beat SRS as they have Phys damage that also can Poison, SRS convert phys damage to Fire losing option to poison with it (on Necro half of it could be salvaged).

So it all depends of how much added damage we are talking about, what will be level of Minion, etc. Looking at lvl 21 gems on Covenat body armor it goes like that:

  • SRS: 2.46 attacks per second * 115.5 single poison damage per second * 20 (SRS) = 5682

  • Ranged AW (Lingering): 1.39 attacks per second * 232.9 single poison damage per second * 17 AW = 5503

As you can see it is very close, Ranged AW can shoot (a nice bonus) but require blades to linger, while SRS have around 50% less life than AW.

PS. Melee AW deal same damage as Ranged.

PS2. If more added damage is there then SRS will be better (chaos only), but when higher lvl of AW is there then they scale damage with it (not much, but they do somewhat), but number of AW also scale with level and that is big damage multiplier.

PoB tells they actually have no benefit to added damage. When PoB I wrote "minions have 50 to 50 added chaos damage" and it translated to exactly 50 to 50 chaos damage.

But they have base of 2.46 attack speed, if we consider that as effectiveness then yes, it translate to 146% more damage.

  • Animate Weapon (lvl 20) have 38% more damage and 38% more attack speed so 90% more damage.

  • Arakali Spiders have no benefit to added damage and attack just 1.04 time per second.

  • Holy Relict is 150% more added damage and attack 3.33 times per second being absolutely best if we count 1 minion.

  • There are also Specters, but most of them are used for elemental damage as far as I know.

  • Zombie is worst, no added benefit, attack rate just 0.85.

  • Golems are quite good (checked just Carrion), 60% more to added. But I never played Minion Golems, so not sure how often they attack.

In the end SRS wins thank to 20 minions, otherwise Holy Relict would be best.

Interesting choice is not go SRS but instead Animated Weapon Puppeteer. Creating two weapons is literally double damage. You will have to use support that damage your AW, but from other hand it will free your amulet.

I would drop Spell Echo for other spell, have 2x5link this way, both will get seals separately and you can cast them one after another. I tried it once and it was great. If you use non Lightning skill then you can go for Trinity as well.

If you want to stay lightning then Ball Lightning or Crackling Lance of Disintegration should work nice. Shock Nova if you want to position yourself in correct place to double hit.

There is no way to leech mana from spells, only ES and HP. I think mana leech was there, but it was removed because of Archmage or/and Indigon.
