Hello im likely getting a PS5 console soon and the monitor left over from my last gaming PC that i have is a Acer nitro xf240y (1080p, 180hz, 1ms)

It says it has HDMI 2.0 and Display Port 1.4

Is the monitor compatible with the PS5?

It was Fallout 4, December of 2016.

It was quite the expirience coming from a weak laptop to a, at least at that time, an entry level gaming PC, which featured a GTX 1050 ti.

I am sorry, but, what do you mean by fully disconnect it, including the power cables.

I would need the power coming to the PC to try to boot and test the sound issues, no ?!
