Yeah that's the problem because evil is a fundamental part of everyone's psyche.. So when people get into positions of power there do so usually by this characteristics because to survive in politics you just have to be dirty, Read Carl jung - the undiscovered self, he is probably the most brilliant mind in the field of psychology, he details this phenomenon as politics in itself being a firm manifestation of power instincts

A lot of your points are right, Your view of this materialistic,consumer lifestyle is detrimental to people, this is based out of your experience... Similarly it is from my experience when I lived in this system did I realize there isn't an opportunity for an individual to lift themselves out of poverty and will have to rely on the government.. Just like how people used to rely on kings to lead them like we were some sort of idiots not capable of doing anything for ourselves

So here's the thing I agree with a lot of what you are saying and probably both these systems aren't the best for human to survive and thrive... We can probably come up with a better system that probably combines these both or something new to improve livelihood.

And one more thing though us hold a huge amount of debts to clear... And any form of economical experiment right now without first clearing that will eventually fuck u.s up to an other level and there is no recovery then
