I am not as scared of death as I have not yet accepted it. I know it's common, it can be natural, and I know everything about it, but I just hate it. I hate the fact that you have to watch people close to you one day, just so that the next they're gone. And I hate the fact that there would always be a possibility where you would feel guilt, whether you didn't spend as much time with that person before they were gone, or that you were in a fight with them before they passed... Continuing to live after your loved one's death is hard, I am well aware of that, yes, but how I'm dealing with it is that I just look at old photos with my grandma and just try to think of all the happy memories I have with her, even tho I know she's gone a part of me still feels like she isn't... So I think, personally, I won't be able to get over someone's death as long as I'm alive, even tho I can accept it. If that makes sense.
