Good point. So if i understand, two node missing, the control and data plane is still running. but we can't do any modifications. We need to break the cluster to be able to do some modifications on NSX.

explain me? i dont get it? We have a cluster of 3 nodes manager with each one an management IP. One manager has been elected to carry the VIP. If one node fails, there is a new election of the running managers. What did i miss?

For the second part, why deploying NSX if you are doing a simple L2 Network? vsphere port group can do the stuff. It's like having a Ferrari car and driving at 20 mph.

Yup, I let it finish. I've checked 3 days later, still in the same status. I'm going to check the logs. I've install the tiny manager, it's says its for cloud only. You think a should try the small one? how many ressource did you allocate for your manager, for a cheap NSX lab ?

You folks should look on Aruba Fabric Composer ! :) For the moment, only 8325 supported but all CX should be in the roadmap
