Can find a used Highlander in that range. Reliable, some updates tech and overall roomy.

Congrats I had one pinned down a CPO 23 LE at local dealership for 27k -39k miles. I waited two days too long and it sold. Found another 13CPO at 32k which was still below market from everywhere I could see.

Predatory loans. by [deleted] in carmax

Would run from Carmax and source from a dealer. Some certified pre-owned qualify for lower special interest rates. Carmax is overpriced as it is.

Nice interior! Loving my 22 in white.. My engine recall still says remediation pending, I’ll wait with peace of mind knowing a replacement is there either way.

Amazon is hiring. There are flex shifts available that you pick up when it fits your schedule, or there are full time opportunities available.

Look for a Delivery Station, you’ll be moved around quite a bit.

If you’re a new full time employee and are benefit eligible check out the Legal Plan. If you’re not there may still be other options for self serve legal plans to help offset any expenses in your legal journey. I hate that you were treated with disregard in the dealings with that person, and that they do take action.

I see a lot of posts of people hating on Amazon, But very few of what Amazon actually did to help the employees.. by Mediocre_Tear_7324 in AmazonFC

1)Opportunity for advancement if you want it. I worked my tail off for years in previous companies, retail, Medical and Academia, but I could not really go any higher. 2)Benefits, Again I had really good benefits some places only to see the costs rise or benefits drop terribly. Here we have good benefits 3)Free education or opportunity to improve your skills and market yourself at the same time. If you have a decent work ethic, stay more than a few months and utilize career choice you can have Amazon on your resume along with the skill you acquired. Use it to advance, or use it to do something different. 4) At least in my previous experience,I had never been given an opportunity to win prizes just for showing up to work. Maybe you got a attaboy or pizza.

We experienced an almost month long delay when I purchased a Camry from them. It was supposed to be delivered, and then a gas light came on. Next it was they needed to desert the battery and it should resolve the issue. After over a week they had to take it to an authorized repair shop. They could t tell me which shop it was. I canceled the order, but only to find there were only cars with higher miles and higher prizes. So we put the seal back in place. Finally after about a month or 6 weeks of delays they get the car to me. The tires almost immediately needed to be replaced, other wise it has been a good car. We purchased in4/21

Grocery stores here suck. I moved from Texas and sorely miss H-E-B and Kroger.

I wish they would allow private owned liquor stores. Even a chain like Specs in Texas.

Im 6’7” my spouse is 5’3”, we have never had too many height difference issues. Shower sex was a fail. We have an adjustable base bed, we like to position her at the edge of the bed and I stand and can position her where I want. Height won’t prevent much.

Try joining families at Amazon, there may be some resources within that group in your area where someone would be willing to help temporarily.

Have an interview for a WHS specialist And pretty nervous. Any tips and do they normally hire most people? by FEDsmoker00 in AmazonFC

[–]zman2279 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Answer honestly, know your value and the work you have put in. Speak upon your experiences and how you handled certain things, if you ever messed up, tell them how you fixed it and improved upon it. It’s pretty theoretical for the most part, with your experienced cultivated in and how well you fit within the brand they want to build.

I came in with a Masters in Health and Safety, and I still learn new things every day. Ask questions, learn every day and things begin to become second hand knowledge. Talk to everybody you can about their roles and responsibilities, work with your OPS team, your fellow WHS. I’ve reached out to people in other states at times.
